are there any BAD category 4s?

If we book a cat. 4, is there an area to avoid? I know about the metal vs. plexiglass railings and I'm all set with that. What should we NOT be under for noise? Is it noisy under the spa or the adult pool? I imagine the other pools might be.

Do the cat 4 rooms have varying styles of Verandas (metal vs. plexiglass)...We will be in 8528.

The adult pool/spa area would probably be the best. You will get noise from the parties at the Goofy pool...you may be too tired to care (or you might be up there enjoying the party), but if music from above would bother you and you like to go to bed early, avoid that area.

On our 1st cruise we stayed in 8530 and our married children stayed in 8528 and 8526 with their families. In our opinion 8528 is one of the best rooms on the ship. The room itself is large and the verandah (plexiglass rail) is great. The location can not be beat and you will definately love the room.

First cruise we stayed in 8044 and our second we were in 8590. Both rooms were great...only one was midship and the other was AFT. We actually liked AFT as we were close to the Topsiders back stairs and our emerg. drill was indoors at Animators palate. Big difference from the year before having to wait in the heat on Deck 4! We will do AFT again for that reason...but Deck7 this time.
