DH, 2 DS (8 & 14), & myself are going home to BWV next Saturday. This is our first trip to BWV, we usually stay at VWL.
Looking forward to a new experience. Is anyone else planning a trip to WDW next week? Any tips about BWV?

Get an ice cream cone at Seashore Sweets one night after you have walked back from watching Illuminations at Epcot and just sit at an outside table and take if the beautiful atmosphere. You will love it! Also the ice cream at Seashore Sweets is very good and very reasonably priced, the cones are very large.
Your boys will also like the free video games available at the Community Hall.
Have a great trip!!!

tweck, we just got back and it's hot but you will love BWV. Everything is right there.

PS when you get there if you don't go to epcot the first night, you can see a lot of the Illums fireworks from the BW. Go over by Atlantic Dance and get a bench by the lake and just sit and enjoy the view. Be early or you can just stand almost anywhere.

PSS I put a trip report you can read on the DVC forum under Paults

have a nice trip, Paul

My dh and I are leaving Sunday for WDW. We won't be staying at BWV, our home resort this time, but we will be definitely visiting the boardwalk area. We're trying VB, BCV, AK and OKW this trip and are hopin that we get the BW feel from the BCV. If you have a bw view you can sit out in front on the balconey and hear British Invasion in the afternoons they play. My dh just loves that. We also are able to "catch" the boats really easily because we can see when they arrive from this view, too. We use the stairs to be able to go directly to the boats. At night depending on where we've stayed we have been able to wach some of the action from our room. We've had pool views that are very fun, too. They are just different. We love our BWV! Have a good time!

DH, 2 DDs and I are leaving Sat for the 22 hour trek to OKW!! I am so excited I can't hardly stand it! I'm actually looking forward to the long drive with the kids. Although I'm sure I'll change my tune by the time we reach Nashville!!
