I was thinking it would be nice to pick up a bottle of Bailey's for in our room, for some Bailey's and hot chocolate before bed, What would be the easiest was to get one. We won't have a car.
We are flying in with westjet from Calgary so do we look at duty free before we go on the plane or do they sell duty free on the plane. Or is there something in the Florida airport?
Thanks

I think you should be able to buy some at duty free when leaving Canada. You could probably call the duty free shop at Calgary airport and ask what the price is. Sorry, I don't drink so I didn't check the prices....

How are you getting to your hotel? If you are using a car service, they will do a grocery stop.

Yes, if you are using a car service they will make stops. If you are using DME just buy it at Duty Free.
We drive down to Seattle to fly (for cheaper flights) and packed a bottle of Vodka in our check in luggage. Put it in Zip lock bag (it was small bottle) and placed it in the middle of clothing for cushioning.
So if you are worried about finding it at Duty Free, you could just pack it in your checked luggage.
I like having Happy Hour at WDW on my balcony ;)

We take a small bottle of rum and wiskey with us every year when we visit disney. We to just put it in a plastic bag and pack it in our luggage.

You are fine with just buying it at duty free, if it's open. If you have an early flight it may be closed, call ahead to find out the hours. You'll picked it up at the gate during boarding, very easy!

The duty free is just off to the right after you go through security at the Calgary airport. The prices are excellent(we were just there before a vegas trip). Pretty good selection too!

We always purchase something at duty free and put it into our checked luggage.

we had to do that on the way back last time,
I think I wasn't sure because, last time we flew from edmonton to Orlando we had to stop in toronto and there wasn't much time so we never though of it in toronto, and in Edmonton we were in the domestic area and there was no duty free there.
This time we are flying Calgary to Orlando and its a direct flight:banana:
So this time I can be prepared
Thanks so much for the info

The easiest thing to do is buy it ahead of time and pack it in your checked bag. I will double bag it and then wrap it in bubble wrap and put it in the middle of my bag.

It will have to be taken onto the plane. The checked bags get dropped, and then final security check, and then the duty free store. This is the Calgary set up. No biggie, since carry on has already been searched, it is fine to take the bottle.
