We are going on our second DLP trip this Feb 16 to 21. Three of those days I will be alone with my two sons (ages soon to be 5 and almost 7). On our last trip to DLP we enjoyed the Christmas decorations, tried most of the big rides and went to the Animators show in Disney Studios. We didn't do any shows in Disneyland.

Any tips on what to do in the parks on this trip? We have all been to Disneyland and Disneyworld and are huge Disney fans. We'll have more time in the parks so will be able to take advantage, hopefully, of what most of what they have to offer. I'm especially interested in tips for shows.

Also, any advice on how to dress? We are living in Switzerland right now, so aren't afraid of the cold (though wet is a little scary :scared1:) but I'm hoping we don't have to dress like we're going skiing.

And any tips on how to navigate the parks with just one adult and two kids? We will be staying at Sequoia Lodge.

Sure do appreciate all the help I've been getting on the boards to plan!:thumbsup2

I'm going on Feb 21st so I might see you around! :thumbsup2

I can't help you on the kids front (I don't have any), but I can tell you that it's unlikely you'll have to walk around in ski clothes. Yes, it will be quite chilly, but nothing unbearable I don't think.

As for what to do in the parks, one thing that stands out is Mickey's Winter Wonderland in the main park. This show is a lot of fun! Did you catch the parades last time? If not, you MUST watch the Once Upon A Dream Parade! I think it's amazing and ten times better than the one they currently have in MK at WDW. I'd also recommend dropping by the Disneyland Hotel at 4pm, as they have a special mini-show with all the characters. It's a great time to get photos and autographs.

Your boys might also enjoy quite a lot in the Studios - Cars, Flying Carpets, the Stunt Show, Animagique, Cinemagique, the Art of Animation (although we just go in the exit part), Stitch Live, Playhouse Disney for the younger one, the Tram Tour.
Don't forget if you need a rest in the main park they will love to watch the cartoons in Cafe Hyperion in Discoveryland.

Another vote for Animagic, Cinemagic and the stunt show.

Given the ages of your lads, they will love the violence of the stunt show :thumbsup2!
