Hi all,
I've recently come across the site and have enjoyed Reading through all the
comments and advice. I wondered if anyone has travelled at the beg of September? I'm looking to book and wondered how you found it weather wise and how busy it was. We went last November and it was freezing to cold for the little ones. Also the half board vouchers would I be able to use them for a character lunch or dinner ???
Thanks in advance for any replies

We went in September last year (22nd I think) and it was gorgeous weather, our DD was in T-shirts with the exception of one morning which was a bit damp but brilliant sunshine again by the afternoon! :goodvibes
I don't know about the half board vouchers but someone on here will!!
Happy Planning!!

Hello and welcome :goodvibes
I've not been in Sept, but I think the weather is still quite nice then.
You can use the Hb vouchers at face value at most of the restaurants. I'd recommend Cafe Mickey for a good character experience.

We went in September and it was lovely. The weather was warm but not hot. Sometimes we needed a light sweater in the morning and evening, but definately not during the day. The best bit about going in September is the queues are virtually none existent - especially mid week. We walked straight on to the Areosmith Coaster, Thunder Mountain and Space Maintain with no queue at all.

I think September must be one of the best months to visit crowd and weather-wise.

We took DD to Disney the beginning of September 2006 and the whole week was hot and lovely. My wife was pregnant with DS at the time and found it a bit too hot atsome points. We stayed offsite and only did a 1 day trip which DD loved. The forecast all week was thunderstorms, they finally arrived on our last night but we were in the appartment by then.
I'd definately consider going back then.
