Something told me to triple check my RPH ressies since we never received a paper confirmation. I called and gave them all the info. We had booked the Fan Club rate of $139 +tax for a club level room. When they were reviewing my info, they had our dates correct, but was told the room was $229 +tax !! I was shocked ! I then told her we had booked this months ago at that special rate. She said yes, I see it here, but then the price was changed !! She then put me on hold for about 10 minutes and finally came back to tell me a supervisor would call me on Monday. What a runaround with this hotel !! If it wasn't for FOTL, I would stay elsewhere.

I just wanted to add that I called the other day to switch from RPH to PBH and my RPH reservation was messed up, too. They had a reservation for 1 instead of 4. It probably is worth double-checking, especially since they don't send out confirmations until 2 weeks before check-in.

I booked at RP at the end of May, got the Entertainment rate of $99, and I received a confirmation within a few days.

I too had the same problem. I spoke about this in a previous post. I had received a confirmation with the $139 Club Level rate, but when I called they insisted it was $229. I was shocked too. After numerous phone calls a supervisor said I was correct. I then proceeded to pay my bill in full which was another ordeal. I felt if it was paid for and I received an e-mail confirmation saying I was paid in full they could not switch to another rate. It is unbelievable what I had to go through when I legitimately booked far in advance to receive this wonderful FAN CLUB rate. I think they did not realize how popular this hotel would be so soon and wanted to renege on this great deal for Club Level.

Whatever their reason I was never more aggravated then when dealing with this hotel and hope this is not a preview of things to come.

Thanks for listening.

This is scaring the **** out of me. I read a similiar thread about a month ago but it had more to do with them canceling ressies. So I called and confirmed our ressies and rate. No Problem! We arrive Thurs. so this makes me very nervous!!

I made my reservation in March for an August visit. In June I still
had not received any type of confirmation letter but my credit
card was charged for 1 night. I called and asked for them to fax
or email my confirmation. They told me it takes between 2 days
and 2 wks to receive the fax. Needless to say I received it within
2 days--2 days later a mailed confirmation and 2 wks later another faxed confirmation. Better safe than sorry!!!

I received my 2 week before confirmation letter yesterday, $139 rate booked and also quoted on letter.

I don't know what is going on with that hotel, but when I called and asked about a confirmation letter, I was told they did not send them out until 2 to 3 weeks before check-in. The number I called was 1-800-uescape. It sound like it is best to call the hotel directly in order to get a prompt confirmation.
