I just went cruise shopping

Got DH a dress shirt to wear for tropical night - no flowers, just leaves! Can wear with either of 2 new pairs of shorts. (He told me he would wear anything as long as it's not a beach on his bathing suit? lol- I tried that and had to take it back). Also got him his water shoes.
Got DS a shortsleeved dress shirt - not sure about tie yet. Will either wear formal or semi-formal night with a pair of school pants.

Last weekend we hit Target for sunscreen, water shoes, sandals and a cruise tote bag. Everything was on sale and you can't get that stuff in Minnesota in January.

I am just about to hit the Eddie Bauer sale on-line for shorts and tops. Wish me luck!

How's this for obsessive?
I bought DS a dress outfit for NEXT year. It was on sale for $12 for dress-pants,shirt, vest and tie. I always buy at the end of the season for the next year. I hope he just doesn't grow too much this year.

I agree...all the planning and shopping is such fun and really puts you in the spirit! We've had fun stocking up the summer things on sale and also getting our formal wear in order. Love hitting all those sales...specially the Dis store @50%! Can't wait till Dec !!

I got my DS (6) a nice double breasted jacket over at Ebay for $15 :earseek:

Now the hard part is finding one for DS (12) - he's at that tough size inbetween adult and child. Kid's sizes are too small - adult sizes are too big!

Maybe he'll grow before next march :rolleyes:

I'm hoping to pick up a nice formal dress after Christmas. Maybe with my on-going excersize program I'll feel like something really slinky/sexy!

They have LOTS of tuxedo's for sale - not bad prices either. But I know DH will never wear it again if I did get him one!

I bought matching Tuxes for DH , DS 11, DS 9 all on Ebay! I also got both DS's Mickey Bow ties on Ebay and my Formal and Semi Formal!:Pinkbounc
