I was at WDW over this past weekend and they no longer include the make your own stuff at goofy's!!! =( I'm so sad!!! and whats worse is when I asked the girl at the counter she said they were, and she had another lady make them, we watched in anticipation as she made them, and as she was putting together the box I said "This has GOT to be the best use of DDP SC!" She proceeded to treat me like I was an idiot and tell me that they aren't included, she was so rude and snotty about it, and acted as if they never were included!! I told her I was there 4 mos previous and all were included aside from the apple!!! When I informed her that I asked the other girl and she said they were included she replied "Shes new...shes JUST a college student"....nice! I dunno what that was supposed to mean, but needless to say we did not take the snacks, we got other stuff...that were just put in tiny bags (instead of the box I always see) and wound up smashed up by the time we got home. OH and BTW you only get ONE pre-made pretzel rod now...lame! BOO-HOO Goofys! Oh well now I know! It probably wouldn't have been so bad if someone told me accurate info to save me the embarrassment of dealing with the nasty CM! Kind of bummed that Disney took away this beloved and kick-butt use of DDP SC. :sad1:

This has been in effect since August 2009, the word has been out now that only limited make your own items are included, and those that are included are limited to one topping. Unfortunately not all cast members seem to know everything about snack credits.

I was there in September 2009 and was told they were encluded, but not the apple, and each with only one topping, but this woman told me there is no more period as of 2010?!? I dunno if she is misinformed, or has it actually been taken off the plan??

They are definitely gone. Except the marshmallows with only 1 topping. We just used all of our credits on the ready made stuff. My son was disappointed, but quickly got over while enjoying his giant treats.

honestly, given the fact that you had asked up front , i think the proper thing for them to have done is just allowed it this time as a courtesy and not made an issue of it. jmho, but i think disney would have wanted this to be handled more graciously by the cm. it would have been more in the disney spirit and easily handled nicely. :)

As far as the "just a college student" comment goes, The college program kids are there for a matter of 5 months or so, and are unfortunatly, looked down on a bit by their colleagues at times. Having family as regular CM's and children that passed through the college program I have heard this often. They are short timers, cannot train for positions that require longer commitments, and are scheduled last to fill in the holes left after the full timers are scheduled. This means they may work until 12:30 AM and be scheduled to open at 6 AM the next morning. My regular CM family members feel sorry for them in this respect. It does not , however, excuse attitude issues, they are trained in the handling of customers and this one should not have handled your question this way

We were there in September. My giant cookie (dipped in milk chocolate, rolled in crushed oreos, drizzled with dark chocolate... I'm drooling right now!) was covered under the snack credit but, DBF's rice krispy treat (that doubled in size once dipped and coated!) was not covered. We didn't even find out until we got to check out. No biggie... the look on his face when they handed that thing to him was worth the $$$! :rotfl:

UGH! Isn't that so rude that CM not only treated you like you were out of this planet!; but also made that rude comment about the other Cm that was "just a college student". The nerve! UGh! A poor human being just trying to make it in life while juggling school and work, no respect I tell you!

On another note, GOOFY'S Candy Co, is THE ONE THING I AM SUUUUUUPERRRR EXCITED about, other than MAGIC KINGDOM!!!!;)

yeah it was a bummer, I'm just glad I'm not crazy for thinking the CM was less than gracious about the incident!
