Well with 3 months to go i thought it was about time i done a pre trip report...

Me (Natasha) 26yrs old and a major Disney Freak (as i like to call us haha) Fav Character Ariel!! :lovestruc

DBF (Matthew) 24yrs old is a Rollercoaster junkie Fav Character Dumbo (Will be turning 25 while we are out there)

We are so excited!! We booked this holiday back in January 2009 and cannot believe we are nearly there. This time around we wanted to stay in 3 main areas and experience as much as we could around I Drive, Universal and Walt Disney world.

We will be leaving on 3rd May from London Gatwick flying with virgin at 1pm (i hope)

We hope to arrive around 7pm at out first hotel the Enclave Suites which we will be staying in for the next 8 nights, i have seen very bad reviews for this hotel but also some good ones i'm not too worried as we only wanted a cheap and cheerful one on I Drive and if the room is that horrible i will just complain and hope for a new one, i have already emailed the hotel asking for us to be put in a newly decorated room and what not, just have to hope for the best.

When we have unpacked we are going to pop to Walmart and pick up some bits and pieces as we have a kitchen in our room.

Ok so between 3rd-11th May we will be at the Enclave suites IDrive...This week will be budget week the more we save this week the more i get to spend on shopping :thumbsup2We will be getting an iride trolley pass for 7 days which is $10 per person.

As i'm a hotel manager i take the bad comments with a pinch of salt lol! I know what to do if i'm not happy i won't let it spoil my hols but the more and more i hear good things it makes me happy lolx

Right back to the report :) On the morning of 11th we will be checking out of The Enclave Suites and getting a taxi to The Hard Rock Hotel :cloud9: for the next 3 nights :) we decided to upgrade to Club Level to treat ourselves.

We bought a waterproof camcorder (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sanyo-VPC-WH1EBL-Waterproof-Video-Camera/dp/B001SAMSZQ/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1265728454&sr=1-2 waterproof camcorder) to have fun with whilst in the pools and rides on hols so we are looking forward to playing with it :thumbsup2

Whilst staying at Universal we want to fit as much in as possible as we love it so much :) really looking forward to the use of FOTL pass :thumbsup2

I have booked tickets to see The Blue Man Group for the 13th May

We want to try and eat in the following places..

Bubba Gumps
Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville
Mythos

Also we will be hoping that Harry Potter World will be open at some point while we are over in Orlando ideally the days we are at Universal so fingers crossed.

Excellent plans so far.
Blue Man Group is fab. We have been to Margaritaville and really enjoyed it (great food, atmosphere and price) although to be honest we prefer NBA in that particular location.
We also learnt a long time ago not to read too much into bad reviews (unless there are thousands of them that is) as most people only ever feel the need to write about something to complain as opposed to writing with the good stuff (apart from on here where the trip reports are concerned that is :lmao:)

Right so after our 3 nights at Hard Rock we move on for the last part of our holiday 14 nights at Pop Century :banana::banana: Saved the best till last :thumbsup2

We will arrive at Pop late afternoon as we want to take advantage of our FOTL passes at Universal.
So once we arrive we will probably just unpack and chillax maybe get a drink at the pool bar.

I have made a few dining reservations for the next 2 weeks i will post them later when i have it all in front of me as i have a terrible memory lol!!

We finally arrived in Orlando about 4.45pm, 15 mins before our actual arrival time :) waited about 1 hour for Mears to show up, finally got to our first hotel The Enclave Suites (i was so worried about this hotel soooo many bad reviews)
But i can say we are over the moon :) our room is awesome and we have a terrace to sit out on, and views of Wet n Wild and IOA woop! :banana:

Glad you arrived safely. We had a look at the Enclave last year as we like I-Drive and thought it would be nice to have a balcony especially as DH smokes:headache: He thought it would save him having to keep going downstairs to smoke:rotfl: We were shown a studio and a two bedroomed apartment but neither were a patch on yours. I think it's pot luck as I believe the apartments are all individually owned. Well done for getting a nice one :thumbsup2

Great to read so far, my parents stayed at enclave last year for my wedding and though their room was nice yours is a lot better and seems newer.

It is soooooo hot and humid here i'm finding it hard to breathe lol!

May 4th

Today we woke up at 5.30am after just 5 hours sleep so we chilled out for a while in the room and watched some Tv.
We decided on a chill out day and were out for 8am and decided on a walk along idrive and find somewhere to play mini golf, along this walk we found that great big unique Mcdonalds and wanted some breakfast (this place is Mad, the food is not like ur normal maccy d food)
Matt had a steak and egg Mcmuffin and i had a Sausage breakfast croissant and we both had a Mocha Frappe yum!

After Maccy Ds we carried on with our walk and then got to Pirates Cove golf so played 18 holes on there and Matt won :(

We then had a nose around Pointe Orlando and decided on some lunch so we found Johnny Rockets and ate there.. i had a root beer float and Matt had a strawberry milkshake.. i think the Root beer float filled me up as i didnt eat much of my meal at all although it was really nice.

After lunch we decided to go back to the hotel and have a swim so we caught the iRide back.

After our swim we came back to our room and Matt had a nap and i just tidied up abit around 8pm we went out again to Magical Midway and had a go on the Go Karts this was so much fun :thumbsup2 i over lapped Matt :lmao:

We walked done abit the other end of iDrive and went for dinner at Red Lobster we both had some pasta dishes and some snow crab legs (which were horrible :eek:)

After dinner we walkmed abit more till we found Funspot and done all their Go Karting tracks, i beat Matt again :woohoo:

We came home and went to bed around 12am after a great first day :thumbsup2

We didnt have any breakfast in the end on the first day as we had left the milk and the butter at Walmart :confused: when they pack the bags it'son this carousel so when we packed our trolley up we think we efted it on the carousel :sad2: Oh well we had breakfast on the balcony this morning (Lucky Charms) yum!

Today we woke up late 9am :( after breakfast we got ready and by the time we were finished it was 10.30 we then got a taxi to Seaworld which wasnt that busy at all first we went on Manta it took 10 mins if that! Manta is amazing!
We then made our way to Kracken which was awesome.
I forgot my camera battery today so no pics of Seaworld :( we didnt do any of the shows today just all the rides and viewing of the animals :thumbsup2
We fed the Dolphins and Sea lions then we went on Journey to Atlantis.
We managed to get on Manta 3 times, Kracken had broken down so didnt ride that anymore, Couldnt believe the queue times were nothing!

We got home around 6 got ready and went to Magical Midway again for Go Karts (we love it) Matt beat me this time :( We then headed over to TGI Fridays (its only aacross the road from our hotel)

We had cocktails to begin with ..

That McDonalds actually looks amazing lol!

Seriously those Gators scare me sooo much, we stayed at the Ramada just beside gator golf, and had to pass the guy holding them next to the street a lot ... well I walked past once and then made sure we crossed the road every time after that, cause I was so scared (even though to cross the road meant us going out of the way soo much :rotfl: ) - well done being so brave!! :worship:
