Ok, I am bummed that I cannot get a balcony, but can anyone tell me if the windows in the room open for fresh air?:confused3

The kind of rooms that only get the smell of chemicals (air freshener because the windows do not open) really bother me! But I guess it would be better to know in advance!

No, the windows do not open.

Thanks for the response!

I'm feeling so cooped up with winter weather, I really wanted a room with fresh air. I hope the ventilation is working well, because I'd hate to end up in the building with smoke and pets and just recirculated air. OMG I am nervous about this!

Ours didn't but the room didn't smell like chemicals and we weren't in the tower with the pets so we were fine.

You can ask to not be in the Tower with the pets if you are worried about that.

On our next trip, DH wants me to request a high floor away from the pet floors when we stay at HRH. I guess he's afraid he'll hear alot of dogs barking and he hates that. (We have one too but luckily she's quiet in the evenings since he'd go crazy if he heard her chatting with the other dogs during the day. LOL)

I smoke but we got a nonsmoking room last year at RPR and met alot of others like me and we would go outside to smoke and you still could never smell it in the hallways or building :thumbsup2

I am so glad you said that! It helps me feel better.

I did request non-smoking and away from the pets on my reservation, so hopefully my request will work. Maybe I should be more specific like you and request a high floor too?

At RPR only the 2 lower floors in Tower2 are pet floors as far as i am aware.
While the windows do not open , i haver had any probs with ventilation or smells, their airconditioning system is excellent

Ditto!

DS & I both have allergies & we had no trouble at all.

Have a wonderful trip!

The rooms don't have any odors. But I always request A fan.I can't sleep without one and there free as long as you don't take it home of coarse.

What! I didn't know that! That's awesome :cool1::cool1::cool1: Last time I brought one and accidentally left it. It clipped onto the headboard or sat on the night stand. What size are they?
