First week in September?

I'm thinking of staying the first weekend in September after Labor, Fri, Sat, and Sun. How will the crowds be? Is FOL access absolutely necessary this time of the year? Considering stay off-site.

After Labor day the crowds get real light. It's a great time of year to be at the parks!

We were there in 2001 right after Labor Day and for that weekend. Crowds were great, walk ons pretty much on all the rides, no longer than a 10 minute for any ride for anyone....:D

I'm sure this has been addressed before but what about the wek before Labor Day ? how are the crowds?
