Hello Everyone!

My DBF BJ, and I just spent a great week at WDW and we ate at some great places with the DDP.

Who: Myself, Kate princess: I am a long time Disney lover since I have visited WDW every year since I was a little kid. I have been there over 20 times! and my DBF BJ :wizard: who sadly had only been to Disney once :scared1: in 2000! Not so much into Disney but I planned to convert him on this trip :rotfl:

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010583.jpg

When: Jan 25 to Feb 1st 2010

Where: Walt Disney World! We stayed at Pop Century!

Why: Well, I started the Disney College program on Feb 1st:yay: I am working merchandise at Disney's Hollywood Studios :cheer2: (You can read my blog, check the link in my signature!) So at the end of our trip BJ helped me move into my apartment. Also BJ has joined the Air Force and will be leaving for BMT on March 23rd, after that he will be in tech school in Texas, so it will be a long time until we get to spend time together again:sad: So this trip was a way for us to spend some time together before starting our long distance relationship.

You'll notice that in some of the pictures we are wearing First Visit buttons, even though it is not either of our first visits. (He only went once when he was 10) However it is OUR FIRST VISIT TOGETHER and they don't make a button for that or one that says "I joined the military" or "Disney College Program" :rolleyes1

So I tried my best to take decent pictures, I am not a professional photographer by any means! Also sometimes you will see there is a bite taken out of something because I forgot to take a picture first

Here is a list of what I will be reviewing

So BJ and I took my card down on the Autotrain, because I would be staying for the College Program, and he would be flying back.

When we first boarded we got free snacks, crackers, cheese, carrots, celery and dip. There was also free wine tasting but we are not old enough to drink

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010033.jpg
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010022.jpg

At dinner we had salad and rolls. I had Chicken Marsala, and BJ had Salmon. We both had cheesecake for dessert.

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010040.jpg

The chicken was good, the rice was really bad, BJ didn't really care for the salmon, the cheescake wasn't that good either. It was sort of fluffy not heavy like it should have been.
After dinner they were showing 'The Proposal' in the lounge car, so we watched that and ate free cookies and hot chocolate.
The next morning the had a free continental breakfast. There was bagels and muffins, as well as cereal and fruit.

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010050.jpg

We arrived in Sanford and waited for them to unload my car!
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010058.jpg

Then it was on to Disney!

We checked into the hotel around 11:00 am and we were starving! So we headed over to Downtown Disney to eat at:

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010075.jpg

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010079.jpg

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010080.jpg

We were eating at Hollywood & Vine later, so we decided to just order the Supersaurus Sampler. We paid extra to add ribs and fried shrimp.

Brachiosaurus Bruschetta, very good
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010088.jpg

T-Rexadillas and Onion Rings, the onion rings were perfect, not greasy at all, and the T-rexadillas were delicious! They are not too spicy, which is perfect for me!
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010087.jpg

Spinach and pepper jack queso with tortilla chips and a side of ribs. The queso was the best part of the sampler, not very spicy (which again is good for me :) ) The ribs were not that good. I thought they were very tough and so did BJ.
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010086.jpg

Side of fried shrimp, this was the worst part of the dish! I took one bite and wouldn't eat anymore! They were fried but not crispy, and the shrimp tasted like rubber. Not worth paying the $6.99 to add it IMHO.
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010089.jpg

We both ordered water to drink, since we were paying for this OOP. Orginally I was supposed to have a gift card from Mypoints but it didn't come in time for the trip:mad:. The restaurant was very noisy, and every 20 minutes there was a meteor shower in the next room, we were sitting in the ice cave room. The theme was very cool, and overall we were glad we ate there!

We spent our first afternoon at the Studios, since it was the park BJ was most looking forward to and it would be EMH that night.

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010097.jpg

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010111.jpg

We had a reservation at Hollywood & Vine.

I found it difficult to take pictures of the buffet so I just took pictures of our plates.

First up is Mine
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010128.jpg
Moving clockwise from the dinner roll is cantaloupe, rice, an orange glazed chicken, green beans, BBQ Pork Loin, Mac and Cheese and in the middle is cornbread pudding. Everything was delicious.

BJ's plate
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010131.jpg
Moving clockwise from the noodles, which were some sort of asain peanut flavor, he said they were very good, next is pork loin (I think... :confused3 ) then he has the orange glazed chicken and finally some steak, which looked very rare to me but he said it was excellent.

My second Plate:
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010130.jpg
More Mac and Cheese, BBQ meatballs, chicken Nuggets, the yellow triangle was some sort of bread with peppers in it, it didn't do anything for me, and finally seafood alfredo. I took one bite and thought the seafood taste was too overpowering.

Pictures of the desserts:
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010133.jpg

Carrot cake, cookies and key lime tarts

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010134.jpg
on the far left is chocolate coconut bars, in front is chocolate mousse and strawberry shortcake, and in the back was lemon mousse that had blueberries in it. Everything was very yummy.

Some Cereals
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010155.jpg

My Plate starting at the Mickey waffles and moving clockwise is french toast, pluto's cheese blintz, and breakfast pizza. The breakfast pizza is one of my favorite foods at Disney, and of course the Mickey waffles!

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010146.jpg

BJ also had the pizza, some fresh watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew, mini pancakes, and cheesy potatoes. I tried some of the potatoes too and I thought they were pretty good.

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010141.jpg

Overall we thought the Chef Mickey's was one of the best dining experiences on the trip. Even though we are both adults, without any kids with us we had a great time meeting all the characters and getting our picture taken. Also it was sweet to watch the little kids around us faces light up when Minnie Mouse came over to their table. We had a lot of fun here and will definitely be returning on future visits!

After Chef Mickey's we headed over to EPCOT! We went on Spaceship Earth and BJ was surprised when they put our photos on the people at the end.

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010162.jpg

We also played around in Innoventions, where there was an investment game with this pig:

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010163.jpg

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010164.jpg

That night we had a reservation at one of my favorite places! Teppan Edo! I am allergic to soy, so when we eat here the chef makes mine first with out soy sauce and then cooks everyone elses' after. It is strange though because you are sitting with another family sometimes. Nobody said anything but the wife of the other family was like whispering to her husband about how it wasn't fair that the chef made mine first. :sad2: But I didn't say anything because I was on vacation and wasn't going to let someone else ruin it!

We ordered a specialtiy drink to share. It was called Mikan and it was orange and pineapple drink. It was very good, I expected it to be a little tart because of the pineapple, but it was still sweet.

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010167.jpg

A picture of the food being cooked and an onion volcano!

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010175.jpg

I ordered Nihonbashi which was steak and chicken, served with rice, vegetables and noodles. I couldn't eat the noodles though because I am allergic to soy. This was delicious I finished everything on my plate.

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010177.jpg

BJ had Asakusa which is steak and shrimp. He said it was the best shrimp he had ever eaten! He claimed he would offer me a piece but it had been cooked in the soy sauce. But they way he was eating it I don't think he would have shared! :lmao:

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010178.jpg

For dessert I had the Green Tea Pudding. It was very sweet, but also something different. I really enjoyed it.

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010179.jpg

BJ had the Chocolate Ginger Cake. He isn't really a dessert person, but he wasn't full from dinner so he finished the whole piece.

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010180.jpg

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010181.jpg

Overall we both enjoyed Teppan Edo. They were very helpful with my food allergy and the food was delicious. I was stuffed but BJ was still hungry when we left, he ended up using a counter service less than 45 mins later. His only complaint was that he wanted more food.

Thanks for the review of Teppan Edo. I love that you show the receipts. We're going there in April and it's nice to know that so far the prices from the Allears menu are the same as what you paid. I can't decide between the steak and shrimp or chicken and steak but based on what your boyfriend said about the shrimp, I think I might have to go for it...

Mmmm Teppan Edo looks so yummy, but I have to agree, the portions are a bit small for a hibachi restaurant. The one we go too in town-- you get soup, salad w/ an AMAZING orange dressing, fried rice (good fried rice, not the gross yellow kind from "Chinese" restaurants), noodles, vegetables, and a TON of whatever kind of meat you want. Plus, even if you order chicken or steak or filet mignon, you ALWAYS get three pieces of shrimp. And it's cheaper than paying OOP at Disney!!

I'm not really a big seafood eater so I always go for the chicken and steak, but he said it was the best he ever had so...

Sounds so gooood so what did he get later?? Since he wasn't full from dinner?
I'll let you know in the next post lol :cool1:

Mmmm Teppan Edo looks so yummy, but I have to agree, the portions are a bit small for a hibachi restaurant. The one we go too in town-- you get soup, salad w/ an AMAZING orange dressing, fried rice (good fried rice, not the gross yellow kind from "Chinese" restaurants), noodles, vegetables, and a TON of whatever kind of meat you want. Plus, even if you order chicken or steak or filet mignon, you ALWAYS get three pieces of shrimp. And it's cheaper than paying OOP at Disney!!

Same here, we have eaten at one near home, and he thought that it was a better value.

Great review of Teppan Edo :thumbsup2
We loved it when we ate there on our last trip

So about 45 minutes after we ate at Teppan Edo BJ informed me that he was still hungry :scared1: Now I was completely stuffed, so I couldn't understand how he wasn't full. We had fastpasses to ride Soarin so I suggested that he check out Sunshine Seasons.

He got the Cashew Chicken with rice and noodles. He didn't want dessert but I wasn't going to let it go to waste, :lmao: I picked a chocolate mousse cake and he got a fountain soda

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010183.jpg

He thought the food was great, but that the rice was overcooked and mushy. I ate the chocolate cake and thought it was very rich, but still very delicious! Now that BJ was full, we went to find a good spot to watch illuminations!

The Next morning I had a surprise planned for BJ. We were doing the around the world Segway tour at EPCOT! I had kept it a secret for so long, I was worried that someone would ruin the surprise when we got to the entrance, but no one said anything. He was a little confused when we went through the gate for the princess breakfast. We loved the tour! The first part was a training session followed by a tour of the world showcase. It was a great experience and I would recommend it for anyone!

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010218.jpg

After the tour we had to go over to Downtown Disney so we could purchase our tickets for Cirque du Soleil. We stopped into Candy Cauldron because we hadn't eaten breakfast that morning and I was starving. I picked this Rice Crispy treat, but when we got to the register it didn't count as a snack! I guess I didn't look at the signs close enough!:rolleyes1 BJ was a little mad but agreed to pay for it OOP

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010221.jpg

It was very sweet, but all the candy pieces kept falling off while we were walking and trying to eat it.

So after we purchased our tickets we headed on over to Animal Kingdom. We had a reservation at 12:30 at Yak and Yeti, and it was around 11:30 when we arrived, so we decided to ride the safari. After the safari we made our way over to Y&Y only to discover that our reservation was at 12! luckily they seated us anyway.

We decided to order the Pork Pot stickers as an OOP appetizer.

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010231.jpg

They were very good, ours came out very quickly and were hot and fresh! The sauce that came with them was a soy-lime sauce so I couldn't eat it, but BJ enjoyed it.

I ordered the Crispy Honey Chicken with white rice.

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010233.jpg

This was sooooo good! :yay: the chicken was hot and very sweet. The rice wasn't really that good, but there was more than enough food on my plate. I couldn't finish it all.

BJ had the Seafood Curry.

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010232.jpg

He said it was very flavorful, and the portion size was huge!

We both ordered the Fried Won tons for dessert

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010234.jpg

I was a little disappointed with these, it was not what I was expecting. It was good, but I thought the cream cheese was a little overpowering.

A place I ried this trip was Kouzzinas I was a little apprenhensive about the "Greek" but it was DELISH!!! Service was outstanding !! I really don't like being rushed as in my entree coming before I;ve finished my soup !!! At Kouzzinas the timing was Perfect !!!

After Yak & Yeti we went to ride Everest! and then saw the Nemo show. BJ wanted to go on the Kali River Rapids and I told him NO WAY. :sad2: He insisted on walking over that way just to see how wet people were getting off the ride. I told him that depending on where you are sitting you either get a little wet or completely soaked!

We decided to use some of our snack credits at this time. I got a soft pretzel and he got Glazed Almonds. I forgot to take a picture though because I was excited about eating my pretzel and BJ didn't remind me until after we had finished :rotfl:

After our snack we walked the jungle trails and got to see the trainer feeding the Tigers! popcorn:: She threw this big hunk of meat over the fence and blew a whistle and the tiger came out and jumped into the water to get it. It was really cool to watch. After the trail we found a spot to watch the parade.

It was EMH that night so we did It's tough to be a bug and the Festival of the Lion King show. Then we went on Dinosaur and BJ decided he didn't care to go on primeval whirl. We went to Restaurantosaurus for dinner.

We both ordered the Bacon Double Cheeseburger with fries and a drink. I ordered the cheesecake shooter and BJ got the chocolate mousse.

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010239.jpg

The burgers were okay, nothing special, I thought the bun was sort of dried out. The fries were soggy too. I was very disapointed in dessert. I had ordered the Cheescake shooter. when you look at the picture you and sort of see this shiny liquidy stuff on top with an orange slice. This orange flavored glop ruined the whole dessert. I only ate one bite. BJ's mousse was delicious, and very rich. He only wanted one bite so I ate about half of it. We ended up taking the rest back to the hotel and putting it in the fridge.

After dinner we went back to POP to get ready for Cirque Du Soleil.

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010240-1.jpg

The show was interesting. There were some awesome parts with acrobats but, the whole thing was very strange. I didn't know what was going on most of the time :rotfl: BJ thought the show was great.

After the show we headed over to Planet Hollywood. We got a $15 coupon with our package and since BJ had never eaten at one we decided to just go for appetizers.

We decided on the VIP Platter which was Chicken Crunch, Buffalo Wings, Texas Tostados and Spinach dip for $18.99

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010249.jpg

The wings aren't in the picture, but BJ said they were good. the chicken crunch was also good, the coating was a little sweet, not like chicken strips usually are. The tostados were also sort of sweet, I thought the spinach dip was the best part! It was hot and creamy and very yummy. I even got BJ to finally try some after asking him a multiple restaurants over the past few years. And he liked it too :woohoo:

I also ordered a chocolate banana smoothie. I can't remember the exact name but I think it was spiderman something

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010250.jpg

I'm not sure. See you are seated at a table with 7 other people, sometimes other families, they cook everything together on the same grill. Now when I went since I have an allergy the first offered to cook mine in the back, but the the chef said he would just do mine first. So if he doesn't like soy sauce I guess he could get it made in the back, but that isn't much fun.

After staying out late at PH and DTD we decided to sleep in the next morning. We had reservations at the Sci-Fi Dine In for lunch.

BJ got a chocolate milkshake and I had the oreo one. Both were included on the DDP

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010290.jpg

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010291.jpg

Both were verrrry thick and very good. It lasted the entire meal.

We decided to pay OOP for some of their wonderful Onion Rings

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010292.jpg

The onion rings were crispy and delicous. They were not greasy at all and the onion didn't fall out when you took a bite.

I ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with fries.

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010294.jpg
This was good, I didn't care for the bruchetta so I just scraped it off before I ate it, although it was kind of dry with out anything on it.

BJ had the Ribs and fries

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010293.jpg

He was not impressed with these at all. He ate a few but said that they were dry and the ones at TREX were much better!

We weren't really hungry for dessert, but we took them to go. I had a sundae that I ended up throwing out because I didn't really want it and it was melting in the cup. And BJ had the Celebration Cheesecake, which I helped myself to eating most of.

The Power Rangers were really into him and his shirt. The photopass photographer took a ton of pictures too. I had the Chicken Penne Alfredo with a cupcake and a bottle of water for later since we had our refillable mugs
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010359.jpg

This was terrible. The chicken was fried and greasy, and by the time I had waited for BJ the pasta was cold. The cupcake was very sweet as it had a huge glob of frosting on it.

BJ had the chef's special of the the day which was a flat bread with caramelized onions and shrimp. For dessert he had a cookie and I think he got a Monster Energy drink.

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010360.jpg

BJ and the sword in the stone. We went on almost all the rides that weren't going to be open during the extra magic hours at night later on, and then we headed over to DTD.

We decided to have lunch at Wolfgang Puck Express.

I had the BBQ Chicken Quesadilla
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010374.jpg

This was soooo yummy! It was sort of tangy but the ranch dressing cooled it off. There were some tomatoes on the top but I scraped them off :lmao:

BJ had the BBQ Chicken Focaccia sandwich

For Dessert we both had the creme brulee

We had reservations for 'Ohana at around 6:30. I knew Wishes was at 8 so I wanted to get a seat by the window and try to stick around. We headed over the the Poly about 15 minutes early and requested a firework view, and told them that we would be willing to wait for a table to open up. We didn't have to wait very long maybe another 20 mins or so. Which was totally worth it! This was our view

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010415-1.jpg

That little blue blob is the castle. The picture doesn't really do it justice.

We started with the welcome bread and salad.

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010403.jpg

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010405.jpg

The bread was yummy, but I think it might have been better with some butter. I don't know if we were supposed to get any, but we didn't. I didn't eat the salad, but BJ had a little and said it was good.

Noodles and Broccoli
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010407.jpg
I didn't eat these but BJ said they were good. He just didn't want to fill up before the meat came out.

Now onto the pot stickers and chicken wings
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010406.jpg

These were sooooooo good. There were also dipping sauces for them and the meat, but I couldn't eat them with my soy/peanut allergy

Now onto the meat. First there was steak
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010408.jpg

This was excellent. I couldn't wait for them to come around again for more :goodvibes

Then there was shrimp.
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010410.jpg

OMG this was so good. I'm getting hungry just thinking about how yummy they were.

Pork and Turkey
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010412.jpg

I wasn't too crazy about the pork and turkey, I thought they pork had a strange seasoning on it or something and my piece of turkey was dry.

Dessert, was the Banana bread pudding with ice cream

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010417.jpg

I ate most of this myself as BJ does not like Bananas. lol Very good with the ice cream on top!

So now it was like 7:30 and we had been stretching out our dinner the whole time. I left to use the bathroom and left BJ to fend off the waiter. When he came back BJ kept telling him he didn't know if I was done eating or not. I felt bad, because we were hogging his table, but we left him a nice tip for being so patient. Soon it was 8pm!

At 8pm the lights were dimmed in the restaurant. They piped in the music for Wishes. I was so excited! It was the most spectacular view and a great experience. :cloud9:

enjoying your trip report. it's funny, because we just got back and had some similar experiences. LOVED the segway tour in epcot. we jut did it and would do it again. so much fun! we also tried disney quest and HATED it! so dark and stuffy and depressing in there. we had wanted to try it for several years and were so disappointed. it seemed the technology was somewhat outdated and not what we would have expected from disney. ah well! we are planning to do the fort wilderness segway tour next time. can't wait for that one! keep the reports coming :)

Glad you enjoyed Ohana-- we weren't a fan of the food personally (except for that YUMMY bread pudding) or the service (totally ignored for a large party-- which was our server's loss. DBF has tipped 100% for good service. She could have gotten more from us than from the table of guys she FAWNED off. The assistant server was also very rude + ignored us). However, we sat down to eat right around 9:50, ten minutes before wishes. Soooo nice to watch from the restaurant!

Hi great report

I am currently deciding all our ADR's your report is helping I was just wondering you mentioned at beginning of your report

I have visited WDW every year since I was a little kid. I have been there over 20 times!

Why do you have 1st time visit badge on? Is there some story behind it or do you have it crossed out and 20 on it

Same here! I had a major issue with the fact that they didn't devein the shrimp. :scared1: Major issue with me. We're skipping Ohana in May for Kona. I'm excited about it!

Still enjoying your report. How neat you're working at POP.

Sorry you didn't really enjoy the food. Our waiter seemed very attentive toward the end, of course he probably just wanted to get another table in there. But like I said, we left him a nice tip.

It is one of my favorite places! I think everyone should try it at least once!

We cheated really. We were celebrating "our first visit together" as well as Me starting the Disney College Program and BJ joining the air force.

Yeah I didn't realize about the shrimp till about halfway through when BJ pointed it out. Then I thought it was kind of gross.

The next morning we headed over to EPCOT! We spent some time at Innoventions before it was time for our Kim Possible game. We had to get over to Italy (I think) but I was Starving! BJ didn't really want to eat anything because we had an early reservation at Le Cellier. We decided to stop at the bakery at Norway to see what they had.

We ended up getting a Norwegian Club, which came with salad, a bottle of water and some sort of strawberry/chocolate cake.

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010430.jpg

This was delicous! I was pleasantly surprised since I had never eaten here before. The sandwhich was Turkey, Ham, Bacon, Tomato, and cheese. It was served warm on a multigrain bread. We didn't even know we could get a salad but were told at the register you could have soup or salad with the dining plan. BJ decided on the salad.

So our Kim Possible adventure lead us to Japan! Which only means one thing for me: Kaki Gori! I forgot to take a picture but I had the rainbow one, which is strawberry, tangerine, and honeydew.

We spent sometime playing the Kim Possible game then decided to go on Test Track and Mission Space before we ate dinner. The we headed over to Canada to eat at Le Cellier!

We started off with the breadsticks. One was preztel and another was sourdough. I can't remember what the third was :confused3 we asked for extra pretzel bread though!

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010444.jpg

To drink we ordered a non alcoholic specialty drink, because it was included on the DDP

http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010445.jpg
On the right is mine, a Chocolate Rasberry Shake, and on the left is BJ's Red Maple. The chocolate shake was soooooo good. I had a sip of BJ's red maple and it was okay, he seemed to enjoy it though

I decided to pay out of pocket for some cheddar cheese soup
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010446.jpg
Of course this was excellent! BJ had a few spoonfuls and was surprised at how rich it was.

BJ chose the off the Chef's menu so he got an appetizer included. He decided to go for the spicy chicken and chipotle sausage.
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010448.jpg
He said this was good. He said it wasn't really that spicy for him, but this is the same guy who has done numerous "911" wing challenges

For my entree I went with the Filet Mignon but I had them put the maple bbq sauce on it and I substituted the potatoes for french fries.
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010449.jpg
This was good, but not one of the best things I ate. The maple bbq used to be on the menu, but I don't think I would ask for it again. The french fries were very hot and crispy though.

BJ chose the King Salmon two ways
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010450.jpg
He said this was good, and the salmon was cooked perfectly. But he wished he would have ordered a steak instead.

For dessert we both chose the maple creme brulee
http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab10/kys5102/disney2010451.jpg
This was very sweet, and the maple taste made it just a little bit different

Great reviews! I can't wait to hear more!

I am also glad you like Pop, me and my partner are going in June (it will be his first time too!), so if you are still in the CP then, I will make sure to give you a wave!

As a CM at Pop, could you answer a question for me? I hear there are both rooms with 2 double beds, and some with 1 king size. Are the king size ones popular? Do you think I could get one just by asking at the front desk on check in? Especially since we are going at peak time in June?

I am sorry to ask you these questions when you are 'off the clock' but I thought I would ask a professional! :goodvibes

Keep up the fantastic reviews!
