AP rates ARE better then the codes

AP rates appear to be about $10 less then the codes that came out on Monday.

Just rebooked my AKL standard to savannah and to make both kids happy booked GF for three nights also.

$189 per night (w/o tax) or $209.79 with tax.

so that puts them at the dc rate which is about $10 less then the public codes

I have been working two different trip ressies. But I THINK that I started out figuring on using the DC discount. Then the other code was lower than the DC, so I did book with that.
THEN the AP codes came out today, and that is the final (and cheapest) offer. ;)

AP rate did come out this morning. Got an email from my DU agent telling me he svaed me another $66 per room (and we have 3). So, that is wonderful. The AP rates are lower than the recent codes. From what I can figure...with tax...a standard room at PO FQ is $87.70 or so...I may be off some. That means that it is about $78-79 per night (I'm not sure about the exact tax). That is a great rate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you DU for being right on top of it.

When AP rates are NOT better than the code........

Is when the AP rate doesn't cover the same time period.
I need a discount rate for 12/22, and the AP rate is only good through the 19th.
So we won't save the extra $10 per night.
We're still saving more than enough to justify the trip!!!

I was actually surprised the AP rate ended up being less money.

It saved us $16.69/night and $116.83/week

there are 2 dc codes for this fall. when we first booked ASmo it was for $62 a night bofore tax with the new dc code it is now $45 a night. this is a room only since you can't get this good of a rate with any of their pakages.

PUGDOG...ASmo? MOvies or music? I think MO is movies, but I didn't think mo did any of the discounts -- I couldn't get one for Movies...Are you staying at the Movies for those rates? When are you going? Just curoius...I couldn't get a discount for Movies for 10.16 - 26.

If there are discounts out there for ASMo w/ DC (that are truely room only) maybe I will have to rethink waiting until October to get my DC memebership. I was waiting until it got closer to our date so we coudl use it at WDW for our Dec. trips and still be able to use it at DLR for our trips we have planned during 2003

My AP rate got me ASMusic for 12/4 for 5 nights at $55 including tax....so the rate is pretty good......

Contemporary standard view room Nov.1 - 3 (regular season) was $179/night with the recent code, and $169/night with the AP discount. I think that moved from a 30% to a 33% discount off rack rates, if my math is right. Some of the other resorts have deeper discounts, it seems.

I have booked all 4 of my trips this year with the AP rate. I have been very happy with what I am paying. For my Christmas trip I was able to get the AP rate for all 11 nights through the 29th. Can't complain about that. Laurie :D

snowhite you are right about movies not included so we switched to sports. we are going dec 4 to the 18. the 2 codes are at mousesavers.com. there is one foe room only and one that adds a UPH to it.
