Indiana campers...How's Pokagon campground?

Thought maybe some of the Diser's has been to this Indiana state park. It looks really nice on their website. Anyone been there? Thanks!:D

We used to camp 3x a year before kids--Memorial day, 4th of July and Labor Day. Every trip was at Pokagon. It is a very nice family park. Go for the electric hookup--the bathrooms are way better than the "primitive" ones, although no campground bathroom is clean enough for me. It has a nice lake but COLD!!! Before kids we had friends with boats and we would go out on the boat. We still have friends that go there 3x a year. I am trying to get out of the camping game and save my money for Disney!

I have never been to Pokagon, but I think we are going to Jellystone Park (http://www.jellystonesbest.com/) next month! I'll have to look up the POkagon site and see how that one looks!

If you go to Pokagon, bring plenty of Off! Because much of the park is wetlands, the mosquitoes there are terrible! One night we laid in our tent and counted our DD's bites. She had over 60!! We camped there for one week, and then moved to McCormick's Creek State Park. Saw less than 10 mosquitoes at McCormick's Creek the entire time we were there. We gave Pokagon the TTMM award---totally too many mosquitoes!
