Disney Store in Ottawa

Woohoo! Hubby's heading down to Ottawa for a few days. Dare I entertain the thought of sending him in search of a Disney store? Can anyone tell me if there is one in downtown Ottawa? Hubby is really hoping the answer is 'no' :rotfl::rotfl:

I've got bad news (well, for you if not for your Hubby :) ). I believe there was a Disney Store in the Rideau Centre downtown a number of years ago but that it was one of the first around the area to be shuttered. The last one in eastern Ontario was in the Bayshore mall in Ottawa's west end; that was closed down last year.

At the time I asked one of the folks in the Bayshore store where the next closest one will be. She told me about the one in the Scarborough Town Centre which, it seems, is now to be closed as well.

I'm tellin' ya. We can't buy a break!

I'm near Ottawa and now have to get my shopping fix in Toronto. SUCKS!!! But I do save a lot of money this way (at least temporarily).

Darn! I suspected that might be the case. Thanks so much for the replies. Oh well, hubby's off the hook...for now :rolleyes1 Maybe I'll drop a line to my friend in Toronto instead....;)
