I just bought this dvd. Who remembers watching it like a million times on cable in the 80's. My teen kids have never seen it. Being from the Jersey shore makes it extra cool to me.

DH watches it whenever it is on. We also have rented it enough to own 10 times over. Also watches E&TC part 2, not as good as the first.

Our DH's must be related!;) And I agree Part 2 is not nearly as good as the first!

Having said that....I agree that...

The movie was ok, but I LOVE the songs in that movie. Agreed and we used to have the cassettes for this movie. Hmmmm....I wonder what happened to them? I'll have to do some checking.

I've been told the exterior shots of the High School was a local high school... my BIL went to it.. RV (Rancocas Valley)

Cable in the 80's? I went to the movie theater to see it when it was out!!!!! HAHAHA :p I do catch it once in a while now on cable though... :)

My husband and I saw Beaver Brown at the Fast Lane in Asbury Park about a million times. When the movie came out, we were sure they were going to hit it big....so much for that. I think John Cafferty own a string of car washes these days and while Beaver Brown still tours, for the most part their glory days are in the past.

Great cult flick. Eddie and CRUUUUUUUUisers. Still watch it whenever it's on.....
