Can anyone give me any insight into the Playhouse Disney show? What characters star in this etc. Our two youngest love Handy Manny, Animal Mechanicals, Special Agent OSO etc.

Are they going to enjoy this? popcorn::

Hi, we love it. It has Handy Manny, Little Einsteins, Tigger and Pooh as well as Minnie, Mickey etc.

I think it's really well done so I'm sure you'll all enjoy it.

It's based around Minnie's birthday - thay want to make a cake and surprise her - so enlist the help of Handy Manny (argh I've got the theme tune in my head now) Winnie and the Super Sleuths and Little Einsteins in their little rocket ship (ha ha another theme tune). It's great! There are a few surprises through the show that will get your kids jumping up and down, but I won't spoil it :thumbsup2

one thing that spoils this show is adults have to sit down on a carpet covered concrete floor with the kids, the carpet is stained to high heaven and its not comfy....ok I was wearing salopettes etc with zips on the legs so everytime I sat down it was like I was impaling myself!lol so I just told them I wasn't sitting on it..so they made everyone on the benches at the side of the room budge up (some reserved for disabled)...the show itself is ok the kids love it but why they don't have seating like stitch live is anyones guess, even for the adults at the back of the room.

for the record I wasn't the only adult complaining, some walked out!

just edited this to say, I sound a right moaner and Im trying not to be haha it WAS really good for the kids...we went twice first time I sat down on he manky floor, second time I refused...so I did give it a shot!!..it might have been dirty because of the snow etc though???

I have arthritis in both knees so I actually couldn't sit on the floor - or at least if I did I'd never have got up again, so they found me a seat at the back. Be warned if the children sit with you there they miss all the bubbles etc.

Thanks Guys, this sounds great (apart from the manky carpet) - the things we put up with for our kids hey? :rotfl:

Sounds like this is a 'not to miss' for our bunch!

Two weeks today woohooo!! :cheer2:

This may sound obvious but I wouldn't recommend it for adults only. DBF and I dropped by and, while it was cute in parts, we got a bit bored. The falling streamers etc. was nice but you should have seen some mothers scooping loads of them up and leaving none for anyone else! :scared1:

Seriously can't be any more manky than my carpet ;)

We have been to both the DL and WDW ones, we enjoyed it slightly more before they changed it (well the adults the kids couldn't give two hoots)

It is uncomfortable for the adults but that said it is kinda cool that we are down on the same level as the kids especially when they get up to dance. You are then just about looking my two in the eye.

We will be visiting it again. We are use to repetition we watch the Playhouse Disney Channel..... come on give us some new episodes.

My DD is just learning to talk and has been referring to Mickey/Minnie as 'Hot Dog' for months. It's quite cute really but no-one else has the foggiest what she's on about lol obviously they don't watch as much Playhouse Disney as us!

This show is a must do for us on our next visit. We saw it in French last time so it will be nice to catch the English version. On the way out there's big plastic figures of Mickey & Co, Pooh etc stuck on the wall outside where we got a few photos.
