Dis Brides,

I have heard there are limitations to what Randy Chapman can do inside Disney Weddings, is this true? If it is true what are the limitations because I really, really want Randy for my wedding photos! Thanks in advance.

I know he can't be in the parks.

He just did our engagement session at the GF. We have him for our wedding at SPB. He'll meet me at the WL for pictures and then do some of us in the Boardwalk area. Looking at maybe adding on to have him do our lunch at the Napa Room.

He can't photography any in-park wedding or event, but that is true of any non-Disney photographer. We specifically chose non-park locations because we also wanted to use outside photographers.

Right - he can go to the ceremony at the WP because it's not inside the parks. But the DP's and such that are in Epcot (or wherever) he's not allowed.

Exactly. That's why we're doing our DP at the GF Marina. Since it's not a theme park location we can have outside photography. You could also use SCP. While it won't have the same feel as a private illuminations party I think our guests will still be pretty impressed.
