Day 2 –
I woke up at about 5am so spent a little time on the internet while I had bowl of rice krispies and DD watched some Disney channel.
When it came light we looked at the view on the freezing cold balcony.

We left at about 8.am to go and get the bus to Magic Kingdom stopping to have a look at the shop on the way. It became very hard to get to the bus stop without DD having to look in the shop first on the way.

We arrived at MK at about 8.30am so had a bit of a wait for rope drop. It was quite cold waiting so we took some pictures to keep our mind of the cold.

After rope drop we headed straight to BTM, which we were straight on. It was freezing on BTM and it felt a bit like we were riding it in Paris. We then went on POTC which DD didn’t like. Next we went on Jungle Cruise.

DD wanted to go on the Magic carpets so we went to do that however after waiting a few minutes on the ride we had to get off due to technical difficulties. We went to meet Aladdin and Jasmine instead who were both lovely to DD.

Our next stop was fantasyland where we did IASW, Peter Pan and Snow white quickly with no wait before DD went to meet Ariel. Ariel had about a 10 minute wait. DD and Ariel and a chat about their treasure collections.
After meeting Ariel DD wanted to go on Space Mountain, we couldn’t tell if any changes had been made apart from the queuing area. DD really loves this ride so we had to go on it again. After SM we didt Buzz Lightyear, which we were straight on with no wait. I hate this ride because I am rubbish at it!!

Our next stop was Mickey toon town

We visited Mickey and Minnie’s house and rode Goofy’s barnstormer twice, I really dislike this ride for some reason it makes my stomach turn more than any big roller coaster does.

We then decided to go back to the hotel, we stopped at the tink treasure shop on the way and DD got some pixie dust on her head by the CM.
We met Peter Pan outside the shop so got a picture and an autograph.
As we left the celebration parade was on so we stopped and watched it and took a few photographs.

After getting the bus back to the resort we grabbed some lunch from The Mara, I got chicken pitta and cous cous salad which was quite nice and DD had chicken nuggets , grapes and a cookie.

We had a rest at the resort for a few hours and enjoyed the view before we went to Cinderella’s happily ever after at 1900 park fare.

We got the bus to MK and then the boat to the GF. We had some time to spare so had a play on the beach. DD climbed in the hammock while I watched her. We also stopped at the shop and brought DD some sunglasses.

The Dinner was really good fun, and the food was good, however not fantastic. There was a good choice though, dd had chicken, grapes and broccoli while I had some chicken, noodles and rice.

The characters were all great and DD enjoyed meeting them all, she said her favourites were the step sisters because they pulled faces.
DD was given a cup cake as we were celebrating her birthday.

DD has asked to do this meal again in the future though I think that is mainly for the characters than the food.

We got the monorail back to MK and then the bus to AKV, we were tired so we were both asleep by 8.30pm.

Seems so strange to me to hear you talk about being cold in WDW! Great first day though, you achieved a lot.
