Here we go....month TWO!! Spring is right around the corner unless the new, improved, Peta robotic Puxatawny Phil sees his shadow.:lmao:

As usual commit to as few or as many minutes of exercise as you wish to challenge yourself to do. Please post here something like "I'm at 21/400" or just 310/1000. That way I don't have to search to add up all your numbers.

I'll update as I get the chance. Hopefully more this month as we should be back to 2 computers soon.

One of my fav quotes, but I don't know who to attribute it to is "The thumping inside your chest when you exercise is your heart applauding". Let's make our hearts love us this month!!

Hmm....what to do, what to do. I was doing pretty well in Jan and me my goal with 5 days to go, but then didn't finish the month very strong. On the other hand, I need to step it up a bit...

I think I'm going to go with 800 for Feb.

Well, I almost didn't do it today. Woke up with a small pain in the back of my foot and almost used it to not exercise. Decided to just "go slow" and was up to pace by halfway through!

I would like to join again this month. I didn't do quite as well as I had hoped last month but I was just starting so I did more than I normally would...and I'm down 15 lbs just from changing my eating habits so I can't complain too much!

Anyway, please sign me up for 500 min again this month.

Just found this thread and want to join! I want to be able to improve my endurance in running and improve my times for 5K. Especially the Royal Family 5K which is a month away.:scared1:

My goal is 450 minutes since I have already missed a week.

For a change, I got up at 7 and went right to the basement for my cardio workout instead of putting it off until late in the afternoon! I also had my longest cardio workout ever - 60 minutes. That means I need only 40 minutes tomorrow to reach my goal! :woohoo:

I am at 1290/1600. Not a good month for me. Not likely to make goal.

On the positive side though, there were many days I did not want to get out there but I did - just for a shorter time than I would normally do. Too bad watching the Olympics doesn't count as exercise time! :earseek: I'd be in great shape if it did. All I can say now is that I'm planning to do much better in March.

So far I'm at 325/500 this month. Doubt I can make 500 by the end of tomorrow!

I would be a lot further but I was sick for a week with what I thought might be the flu at first. It was actually strep but I had no idea it could kick your butt that much! Anyway, I lost valuable days to reach my goal but at least I know I will make my goal next month as long as I don't get sick again...let's hope not!!

Now for the tricky part.... the math!!.... Okay... I am ending February at...

1366/1400. I ended the month a bit behind, but I'm okay with that. I did slack off my workouts near the end of the month because of school vacation and a head cold. I would like to think that otherwise I would have met my goal.
