It isn't WDW, but I just planned.....

a long weekend getaway just before school starts. We went to WDW the third week in May and that seems like forever ago. I will never ever take our big vacation that early again, unless I know for sure that we will get to go somewhere else.
I just couldn't stand it, so I talked DH into a weekend getaway. Our kids love Chattanooga, so we are going the weekend before school stars. I am so excited just to be getting away! Of course oddball is taking a friend again(Heather is just like our own child now)which now means 4 kids, so I was able to get adjoining rooms--one for Steve and myself and one for the kids. YEAH!!!!!We have a lot planned for those 3 days, but I think we are all up to it. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

That's exactly why over the summer we have 5 mini-vacas. (long weekends). Once one is over we still have another to look forward to. I was bumming that the summer was 1/2 over by the calendar anyways. But then I started thinking ya we had 2mini-vacas in July but we still have 3 mini-vacas to look forward to. To me, it's a great way to extend the summer vacations.
Once school starts again and we come home from our Labor Day mini-vaca we only have 2.5 mos to wait till our 7night Disney Magic cruise in Nov!!!!!

of all your mini vacations. Dh and I both work for his parents. They are both semi retired from the business(you know, only come in when they want to or absolutely have to). Besides DH and myself, we only have 2 other employees(who are also husband and wife). That makes things difficult too! There has to be 3 in the shop at all times, therefore we have to schedule our trips around his parents plans. BUMMER!!!! DH keeps saying we are going to hire 1 more employee, but he has been saying that for a while now and I still haven't seen that new employee. Oh well, I am thankful for what time we do get off together. I hope you have fun on your mini's. :p
