Actually I was really asked by Kath if I wanted to be a Chat Host first and then after CC asked me to be a Moderator! :)

I was asked by Pete also. This question gets asked periodically here on the DIS and wm Cathy always has a good, concise answer to it. Maybe send this link to her in a pm.

I was asked to be a chat host first by the Chat Mistresses and Webmasters. Some months later I was asked by the Webmasters to be a moderator.
