Hi

staying in hotel Cheyenne for five days in March. I know they don't have a swimming pool but i was wondering if you can use the swimming pools at the other hotels if you want to? Is it worth my while packing swim gear or should I give it a miss?

Unfortunately the swimming pools are only available for guest who are staying at the specific hotel.
If a pool is important you may want to think about upgrading to the Sequoia Lodge. But you may also find that by the time you have come out of the parks you will not miss a swimming pool. The Cheyenne is a great hotel :)

Thanks for that info, Yeah, I think we'll probably be busy enough without swimming and its one less thing to pack. The Cheyenne is the best our budget will manage, getting so excited thinking about it

But you may also find that by the time you have come out of the parks you will not miss a swimming pool. I agree :goodvibes it was our third trip before we forced ourselves to find time to go swimming ~ and we are a family that LIKE to swim, especially on holiday!

Have to admit, last trip was our 3rd, and we stayed at Newport. Previously we didn't have a pool as stayed at Sata Fe/Cheyenne.

We were in the pool a good 2 or 3 times and loved it. Was a great way to relax at the end of the day, and it tired my son out even more. Think I'll miss it this time if we stay at a different hotel. (unless they get the 40% discount on again:thumbsup2)

Another one here who despite 4 trips to hotels with pools has never managed to find the time to go swimming. I'm sure you'll have more than enough to occupy you without a pool. :)
