My husband and I have purchased a vacation home in Florida (not a time share). Is it possible to obtain a Florida seasonal pass and what proof do I have to have to get this? We will have utility bills, etc. but I do not plan on getting a new driver's license.

Thanks.

Here is what the official Disney website says about the seasonal pass"

Proof of Florida residency is required -- you must provide any one of the following:

Florida driver's license
Florida state-issued ID card (must have Florida address)
Current utility statement with your name and Florida address along with a corresponding picture ID
Florida voter's registration card with corresponding picture ID
A college ID for a Florida college
Florida-based Military ID

Here is a link to some addtional info (from WDWIG) that may be of interest to you:

you can get a florida only drivers license without having to surrender your 'up north' drivers license

Is that true? I have a part-time residence with my sister in Daytona Beach. I am there nearly five months of the year, have my own room there and keep a closet full of clothes and other stuff there so I can hop on a plane with just my purse. But since I am in Idaho seven months of the year and that is my primary residence, that is where I have a driver's license. Can you really get an FL license WITHOUT surrendering your other license??? I am afraid that Idaho might have a license-in-one-state-only rule.

You can get a Florida only license. Most snowbirds do this to get the "good" rates, without surrendering their northern licenses!

Thank you, EpcotMom! I'll have to look into that!
