Did you guys hear the love in my voice? ROFL

The one time I was able to go to CTT was back during DAP. We never rent a car so this was a really cool treat for me. We went there and, of course, it wasn't a Friday night so they only had regular clam chowder. That was incredible though!

"Manhattan Chowder"

"Never heard of it."

(From a local McD's commercial about their new regional coffee blends. One guy spouts some terms, and the other guy gives the New England version...)

Does the restaurant use a tomato or a milk base?

Milk based and it's killer,

Dessert is a carrot cake cupcake from Whole Foods.

CTT and Whole Foods. All in all.... a good night.

Fresh or canned? Made with canned once.

Also made a tomato based lobster chowder once (and only once after future DW parrotheadlois accused me of wasting a perfectly good lobster).:rotfl2:

Mmm...lobster in any form is a good thing.

We had home made pizza for dinner. Quite tasty, but sadly, no lobster.

I have made salmon chowder with fresh Atlantic salmon. Have made salmon corn chowder with hot smoked salmon. (Lox are cold smoked)

Best way (in my opinion) to eat lobster is a simply with as few other ingredients as possible. Butter & milk should be it. Sometimes mayo.

Lobster on pizza, that would be a waste.
Lobser mac and cheese? A waste of great lobster. I have tried it, it actualy made mac and cheese unappealing.

Visited Celbration Town Tavern yesterday for the first time, brought along a group of friends who were visiting from Vero Beach.

The food and atmosphere was terrific, we were so lucky that our first visit was on a Friday - the Lobster Chowder is incredible! Everyone had a great meal and a terrific time sitting outside and enjoying the views while it was a twenty degrees back at home.

One of our party members had a Boston Cream Pie for dessert (his favorite) and swore it was the best he every had, the Key Lime pie was not too shabby....

Thanks for the recommendation Kevin!

We took my dad and brother in law there earlier this month on a Friday! OMG, the lobster chowder was to die for. We all still talk about!

Favorite dessert is the strawberry shortcake -- incredible! Similar to the way they served it on DCL!
