I've made ressies for the BC for December, and they noted my request, but I'm nervous about this. I hate to pay all that money (even if it is discounted!!) and have my kids squished in one bed.
We're splitting our trip between the Poly and the BC, and I'm wondering if I should just book all 7 nights at the Poly.
Anyone have any experience with this?

Don't they have to give you a daybed? It never even occured to me they wouldn't. They know you have five people.

We had five for our 2001 stay. We received a room with 2 queens and a daybed. I didn't "request" it. When I made reservations CRO took the names and ages of the kids. I assumed they would give us a room that would sleep everyone! They did!:D

I think you will be fine. We got a room once at the BC that was small 2 double beds and they moved us the next day. I have no idea why they did that except we did check in rather late and the resort was full. The Bellman called the front desk as soon as we got in the room and tried to get our room changed they just didn't have any place they said. I think they woul have had to put us in a suite and we were there on an AP rate. This is why I think it is so funny when ever folks say they got upgraded. We have been to WDW every year for no less than a week stay and we have never gotten a free upgrade.

We had 3 rooms at the BC last August. 2 of the rooms were for 5 people(all names given when the reservaton was made.) When we checked in, neither of the rooms had a daybed. We weren't happy with their solution (rollaway in the room in front of the balcony door so we couldn't use our waterview easily). They did offer to move us in 2 days to a room with a daybed. We spent 1 night and then asked them to switch our reservation to the Poly. We got to the Poly(all rooms have a daybed) and had perfect lagoon view rooms and looked at the castle from our patios. We were in heaven!
