Continuing my trip report of my latest trip, here is the rest of my day at EPCOT. After a morning in Future World and some time in World Showcase, I've made my way back to the American Adventure to see Shockwave.

Sunday (Part Two)

The show was unbelievable. If you ever get chance to see this, see it. It's amazing. The musicians were all extremely talented and just blow you away. The saxaphones were especially good, I thougt. They were a nice addition since I was pretty sure there were none in the original Blast. That's about as well as I can describe it, I think it's a "you've got to be there to believe it" type of show. After the show it was on to the United Kingdom.

As I am looking around the garden in the back of the pavillion, who should be there but Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet. I hardly ever see Piglet out, so I got his picture. Next it was inside to see some of the shops in the United Kingdom.

After that it was on to Canada to see some of the shops there. They were doing some work on the buildings there, so it wasn't much to look at. Actually, many of the pavillions in World Showcase had some sort of rehab. Canada, Norway, China, and Italy all did. I havn't seen this much work being done at EPCOT since they were preparing for the Millennium Celebration. Maybe they just want everything looking good for the park's 20th anniversary this October.

Next, it was back to Morocco to see Tapestry of Dreams. I'm not sure if I like it better than Tapestry of Nations, but I did think it was well done. The only thing that was annoying was the part where they started talking about Walt Disney. I know that the Celebration is all about Walt, but after four days of nothing but hearing about him, it started to get annoying (they can't even start the Lion King show without talking about Walt's love of animals?). Hopefully that part won't be in it after the Celebration ends.

The other surprising thing of the parade was it appeared to be in sort of disrepair. Two of the puppets just broke during the parade and had to be taken offstage. It's sort of sad to see something like that happen. I have a funny feeling this parade might not be able to last much longer.

After that I had some dinner at the Yakotori House, had some dessert in France after watching the Impressions de France film (it was Bastille Day so I had to do something to Celebrate). After that, I was pretty tired and stiff, so I figured it was time to go relax at the resort. After a quick stop at MouseGears, it was onto the bus and back to the Lodge. Had to get some rest since tomorrow would be the last day of the trip.

I like TON better. TOD seems too "preachy" IMO.
Thanks for posting.

Love the puppets from ToN...so I hope they (and ToD or whatever they decide to call it next year) stay around for a LONG time!
