Can someone describe a 2 BR at BWV?? Family of 4...

I'm planning our next trip (next year) and this will be our first visit "home" to the BWV.

We are a family of 4. Our DD are young. I'm thinking we don't need a 2 bedroom yet but if we can afford it should we? Or should we save some points for the following year?

What are the differences from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom? Is a 2 bedroom just two adjoining studios??

I'm confused.

A two bedroom is a one bedroom with a connecting studio. The one bedroom has a masterbedroom with king size bed and there is a queen size sleeper in the living room. So your two daughters would be comfortable enough in the sofa sleeper (my daughter shared it with her friend and they were 15 and 16). The studio portion is a queen bed and a double sleeper. That sleeper is much more comfortable for one person. Seems like you really don't need the 2 BR unless you want to be up late in the LR and put the kids to bed in another room. (of course you could put them to sleep in the king instead)

So it sounds like for a family of 4, the one bedroom is plenty.

I can save my points and someday maybe get a 2 bedroom if we invite friends or family members?

When we were in Paris this past April, we had a one bedroom hotel room; this sounds very similar.

I have one more question then, do you get more than just a bedroom when you go from a studio to a one bedroom? Or is the only addition the separate room? Sorry that I'm clueless!

If you go from a studio to a 1 BR you get a full kitchen, living and dining area and a stacked washer and dryer(BWV). Kitchen has full size fridge, stove, microwave, disposal, dishwasher and fully equipped kitchen stuff. Also a large bath with Jacuzzi plus shower.

One-Bedroom Villa:The average one-bedroom Villa is 712 square feet and comes with one bedroom with a king-sized bed and its own whirlpool tub and TV, a living room (which has a queen-sized sleeper sofa, and TV), one full bathroom, plus a sink/vanity area in the room with the jacuzzi, a fully equipped kitchen (which includes a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave), dining area (which includes table and four chairs), stacked washer and dryer, hair dryer, a nice walk-in closet as well as a smaller closet, and a private balcony or patio which includes two chairs and a small table. Here is my warning: Once you stay in a 2 bedroom you will not want to stay in a one bedroom or a studio! We were spoiled quickly!

For a family of 4 with small children a 1 BR is definitely spacious enough and you can save pts for another trip. Mom & Dad have the privacy of the MB and the jacuzzi tub and the kids get the sleeper sofa so you each get your own spaces, have the kitchen and w&d which are biggies and still save on pts. Also a lot of the BWV balconies extend from the lr to the MBR which is additional space that is great to enjoy especially at nighttime with the resort all lit with soft lighting and you can hear the horns of the Friendship boats, it is pure heaven. Enjoy!!

Unfortunately we have a boy and a girl. DS will NOT share a bed with DD (not that I blame him) so we get the 2 BR.

We'll probably try the one bedroom next year.

Usually, we end up each sleeping with one child. Our younger DD (2 1/2) would wake up our older DD (6). So until our little one is a bit older, that's how we usually split up!
