Which email / website are we talking about? I'd love a skirt but hate shipping costs!

(of course I have another lovely skirt coming thanks to a friend ;) --thnx SwimMom!

I have a quick question about the runningskirts.com athletic skirts if I can hijack this thread for a secong:rolleyes1
How does the fit run... small? large?? for example right now I'm between a size 14-16 in jeans. The athletic skirts run size 14 and then size 16/18 I don't want to buy the 16/18 if it's going to be falling off of me while I run, but I don't want to buy the 14 and have it too tight to wear without embarassment (and "mushroom top" :lmao:) I do have a pear shape, so I have a umm.. largish bum... and good sized hips and thighs. (they're shrinking as I run more, but not fast enough for me LOL)

I think the 14 would work with the 14/16 size. Just as long as you are not on the high end of 16. I was able to fit the 14 athletic as I crept up toward that 16 size.

I was wondering the same thing about, so thanks for the info. I'm usually an 8, but sometimes a 10, so I was debating between a Size 2(8) or 3(10-12). Also, do most of you like the running skirt or the athletic skirt better? Thanks!

thanks for all the info. I did use the free shipping code and my skirt arrived yesterday--- LOVE it. I have several of these skirts from runningskirts.com. I am usually a size 6 or an 8 in pants depending on how they are cut and I ordered the 8 (size 3) and they run a wee bit big for me but I like it that way rather than snug fitting. note these are not the athletic ones but the regular ones with the built in mesh panty.

The running skirts look really cute, and seem very functional - can't wait to hear what everyone gets!

Skirt Sports usually has a good selection in their Specials (http://www.skirtsports.com/shop/specials.cfm)section.

I have both the athletic skirt and the regular skirt, and I have to say that I prefer the athletic version. The regular version is an inch or so shorter than the athletic version; I personally prefer the extra inch of coverage! Also, I find that the regular version seems to fit just a bit tighter than the athletic version, but that might be because of the lack of compression from the shorts! :lmao:
