Any idea if and when any dicount rates would be out for this time? What is my best option to get a dicount rate for the Animal Kingdom Lodge?

I am going in June and waiting with bated breath to get a discount. I did book a room and will pay it until the AP rates come out then hope I catch them early enough to get the discount then the will aplly it to my new reservation.:D:D

I am looking to go from May 26 into early June, and I have read many different speculations...from late Feb to early April to get the discount codes....

The discount rates for Oct - Dec. 2002 just came out a week ago with AP rates coming out today. So for June 2003 I wouldn't expect them until around March or April.

You can always book your room with a AAA or DC discount now and then hope and wait for codes and apply the code to your reservation.

Usually the AP rates for May/June/July aren't released until the end of March, however, this year they released AP rates in February. At 30% off, they weren't as good as in the past (40%), but they were available earlier.

Then some codes came out, I think around April/May, that proved to offer a better discount than the AP. We usually book a room with a AAA/DC discount and then hope for a better rate.

Bottom line; you probably won't see any discounts available until March, UNLESS bookings are very slow, then Disney might release discounts earlier to encourage more bookings like this year. I don't think there are any major celebrations planned for next year that would be a big draw. It will be the 30th anniversary of Epcot, and Mission to Mars may open, but that's about it. :):D:)

wdisneyaholic, do what I do, i call everyday. I do not give my name each time, I just tell them I want to know if the AAA rates are out yet for next June. I know last yr. I go the AP rates in March for June but that also was concierge, they had rooms for that.
