Transfer points-Use Year?

I am a DVC member and have an October use year. If I rented additional points from someone with a different use year and and had them transfered to my account, what use year do I have on those transferred points? Once they are in my account do they have my same use year?

Transferred points will retain their original use year, so be sure to make sure they are used befor expiring.
