has anyone taken a buggy and buggy board attached on a flight?

we have a 20month old and almost 4 year old....last time we went I took double buggy (have now sold it) but was wondering about attaching a friends buggy board and taking that.

has anyone done this? is it ok to take it on a flight or are they fussy?

thanks so much for any advice!!

We travel with a bag for our Mclaren so we put the buggy in that before gate checking it. We just shoved the buggy board in with it.

If you don't have a bag, could you not pack it in your check in luggage. I would expect my 4 year old to walk in the airport as long as you leave plenty of time to get to the gate.

The last time we travelled he was just three and did all the walking himself.

We took it to Florida when he was 2.5 but it was packed in with our car seats so wasn't used there either.

I hope this is of some help

Edited to add: you might want to try it out with a bit of walking at home, my nearly 4 year old who is a bit of shrimp I find is too heavy for it.

she does walk everywhere now but I just thought might be handy as the day went on and she got more tired...either that or shes on daddys shoulders and he claims hes getting shorter by the day :lmao:

dont have a bag for buzz but it could probably fit into the wee basket as I fold it at plane...

only have one bag for checking in and I dont pack light! :rotfl:

Totally understand the need to take it with you. We will probably end up hiring a buggy at at the parks for the end of the day with Cullen. Hubby feels the same way about his height after carting the kids around.

If it will fit in back of your buggy and it will still fold up that shouldn't be a problem with the airline.
