Pizza lovers, rejoice. Disney World is adding a pizzeria to its Italy pavilion at Epcot.
The 300-seat restaurant is scheduled to open this fall, according to the official Disney Parks blog. It will sport Florentine architecture, vaulted ceilings, outdoor dining and a secret weapon — water.
“It’ll be imported from a source where the composition most resembles water used in Naples, Italy, to make the authentic Italian dough,” the blog reads.
A name for the pizzeria has not been announced. It will be part of the Patina Restaurant Group, which also operates the Epcot’s Tutto Italia restaurant as well as outlets in New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles (including three at Anaheim’s Downtown Disney) and Las Vegas.

I am worried about it being owned by the same company that owns tutola italy. This past December when I was there for candlight package, the food was ok, but the service was rough. We where rushed, the waitress was stuck up and full of herself. Then not only did they put a mandatory tip on the ticket for a family of three but then listed the suggested 18 and 20% tip wrong! For a meal of roughly 180.00 for three people there should be 18% tip suggested of 32.40 but they said it should be 43.18, then the 20% tip should have been 36.00, it stated a 20% would be 54.00. Then they said we had to pay a 20.14 tip that was mandatory for candlight packages. Which was not true. I turned everything into Disney so that they could investigate it but I have heard nothing. I hope this pizza resturate is awsome but I am worried about the company who owns it!

Truthfully I'm not a fan of Tutto Italia. Our service was good, we got our food in probably fifteen minutes and we had a part of 7. I didn't enjoy the food- most of us ordered lasanga and I can say it didn't even make my top ten lasagna list. For the money you pay it should be better, the only thing I liked was the vanilla bean ice cream at the end. Best ever! Anyways, I hope the pizza is fantastic.

No, not at all! We used our dining plan. This past year to get the Candlight package on the dining plan it cost two table services. So that fact just made it worst. We wanted to see Whoopi this year so that is why we sacraficed a meal to use two table services but was hoping for a better meal experience.

Here is another article from the AllEars Newsletter:
An authentic pizzeria is now under construction at the Italy pavilion in Epcot's World Showcase. Slated to open later this autumn, the restaurant will seat 300, including outdoor seating. The menu will include Italian dishes, as well as pizza made in wood-burning ovens. Operated by the Patina Restaurant Group, the new eatery does not yet have a name, although some cast members told AllEars® Team Member DizneyMike Bachand that it could be called "Napoli Pizzeria," after a similar restaurant operated by Patina in Disneyland's Downtown Disney area. For construction photos, take a look at Mike's blog here:
