Question for vwl vets

We are going home to vwl 1st time in Dec. We will be there during DD's b'day and want to have character breakfast at either Contemp or GF (not sure which yet).

Question: Whats the best way to get to both of these early morn from vwl and about how long does it take.

There are any number of ways... In either case, I would take the boat to the Contemporary, then take the monorail to the GF. The boat ride is less than 10 minutes. If I recall correctly, the boats started running at 7:30 in the morning. However, keep in mind this was in the middle of summer. I do not know if the schedules change during the winter months.

We just returned from WLV and found the boat transportation very unreliable. If you have a reservation to make I would recommend having the valet call you a cab. For the small amount of money its much, much faster. We waited for 45 minutes one day for a boat to the Contemporary (and this is the summer!)

Plan on any transportaion from WL to take at least one full hour from the time you begin to wait for transportation to the time you arrive at the front of the place you have chosen to go. If you have a rental car use it to get to the other deluxes, if you don't a cab is a very good idea. The boat to CR will get you there quickly, when you are finally on your way, and the monorail can get you to all deluxes and the MK. We enjoyed both places, but the food at 1900 Park Fair was better during our trip and the Mad Hatter was a real hoot.;)
