Looking for restaurants with private rooms for a group of about 20 (including 6 young children) for a lunch or dinner after our swan ceremony.

I honestly know nothing about private/group dining. Do you just pay the menu price for whatever you order with a gratuity included?

Is it possible to book a disney reception without having a DFTW?

Really we are just looking for a dinner where we can have a toast or two. Don't really want to plan a reception. Are there any disney restaurants that have a dance floor in case some guests feel like having a dance?

If you have details about specific room sizes, I'd love to hear it...can't see to find anything but general reviews.

Thanks!

Hi,
My fiance and I are planning on renting out a private reception room at Shula's (Dolphin) for our wedding dinner. We are getting married at a venue off property. From my understanding, there isn't a fee to rent the room you just pay for the food and drink plus tax and added gratuity. Shula's has a few set menus but I'm still waiting to hear back from group dining to see if I can customize it. I know that all the restaurants at the Dolphin have private rooms. Here's a link to the site.

Hope that helps

Thanks for the Swan and Dolphin info. Any idea what the food/beverage minimum are at the blue zoo or schula's?

I had my reception at bluezoo which is in the Dolphin. For private dining, there is a separate menu and you pay a set per person price. My dinner was around, I think, $109 per person. There are cheaper options at bluezoo. I think the cheapest is around $60 per person.

Tax and gratuity is IN ADDITION to the per person charge.
