Southwest from Buffalo?

Our kids (20's) are meeting us down at Disney for part of our vacation. They are thinking of flying with Southwest out of Buffalo. Is this a good choice? They have only flown once before and it was with another airline. Any info or suggestions would be great. We always drive down to Florida. Thanks

Southwest is a great choice, so is the Buffalo airport. The airport is small and Southwest rarely has time changes for their flights. We prefer to fly Southwest to Florida!

We always fly out of buf on southwest. Cant beat the price.

We flew SWA out of Buffalo in June 2008 and it was great. The Buffalo airport is small and very easy to navigate.

Depending on the time of year they are going, the flight time and where they are driving from they might want to consider an airport hotel close by the night before the flight.

The last time we flew we got the 4 of us for under $800 and we stayed at the Sleep Inn for $130 (which included 2 weeks of parking).

We love SW just keep in mind it is NO FRILLS. No meal, no movies, no blankets. But for a 2 hour flight I could care less.

Love SWA also!! They are probably the only airline out there that allows for 2 pieces of luggage for free!

We've flown twice with South West, great prices most non stop flights to Orlando, always on time for us, nice staff and helpful. It is a no frills airline but as it was already said for 2 hours no problem and 2 free check in bags :yay:
