How many bags total can you bring on the ship? I know the airlines limit the number (depending on the airline), is it 2 or 3? Can you have an additional carry on?

thanks in advance!

You will receive 2 luggage tags per passenger for checked baggage. You may have an additional 2 bags per person for carry on.

While you do get two luggage tags per person, you can usually get a third one once you get to the bus check-in or the port. We left our 4 bags outside the Hyatt door and they were collected and transferred to the ship, but when we checked in for the bus, we had them tag one of our carry-ons and it was also delivered to the stateroom.

We've also carried on two bags each, a backpack and a small duffle bag. Since we usually end up dumping the duffles in the room as soon as possible, we asked if we could check it and they allowed it.

We needed an extra for our car seat; they gave us a blank one (the tags with your docs are pre-printed with names & cabin #s) and they had markers and just wrote the cabin # on the tag.

I take two bags - a rollaboard which I check, and a small carry-on bag. Since there are two luggage tags provided, I put one on the checked bag and the other on my carry-on. That way if the carry-on ever got separated from me, it could more easily be redirected to my stateroom.
