I am already planning my next trip before I take the next one. :rotfl: But I need some feedback and insight.

Ok, I am having our second baby in August and want DH to take just me in November to celebrate my birthday. I am open to weekends but ideally the best one would be the weekend before the full week of Thanksgiving. I think that's November 13.

Alright so my idea is doing all the rides and eating and drinking at places I normally don't get to do having kids or being pregnant. So free dining sounded fun to me. I am open to resorts.

1. Can you book long weekends - like Thursday-Sunday? As long as it's 3 nights, right?
2. What is the typical cost per night if we want the DDP? Give me value, moderate and deluxe prices.
3. You have to get at least a 1-day base ticket right?

I know it'll be summer before free dining may come out, but I want to be mentally planning this trip. You have no idea how much I want to ride Splash Mt again. It's been 5 years!

1. Yes.

2. Are you talking about free dining? Use the online booking agent and price a rack rate package with tickets for the dates you want. Same price.

3. Yes, you must buy at least a one-day base ticket for everyone age 3 or over.

Please note there isn't any way to even guess about whether or not there will be a general public free dining offer that includes November for 2010. There was one for 2009, but that was the first and only year it was offered.

Can't tell how old the oldest kid is but if she is under 3 then you've basically got two adults on the dining plan, because kids under 3 don't get dining credits. If your preference is deluxe resorts you might want to see what kind of room discounts are offered, because at a deluxe for a small family that is sometimes a better discount than free dining.
