Can anyone who has been on this tell me if it moves alot when it is going up and down? I know it is a balloon flight as such and is tethered to the ground and I expect it to sway but just wondered if it really swayed!!

I'm not that great on heights and am a bit concerned that once on it I won't like it and will have to suffer for about 15 mins till it comes back down again!!!:rotfl:

Honestly, it is fine. I didn't think it swayed much at all. They advise you to hold on with both hands until it is at the top but it really is quite steady and I found I was holding on to make myself feel more secure, it wasn't actually necessary. You are very enclosed too which also makes you feel very secure.

I've done three of them now ~ the one at DLP, the sister one at WDW and one in my home town ~ which I am very proud of as I really don't like heights! :goodvibes

Do it ~ you will be so glad that you did. :)

I agree with Elaine. My DH hates heights, but managed this without too much of a problem.

I think they close it if it's too windy anyway.

It was a fabulous experience - remember your camera!

My 3 year old was walking around the top without any problems, and as someone mentioned if it is too windy they will close anyway.

It's very smooth going up and down, I dont think you will have any issues:goodvibes

I went on it with no problems in September and I am not keen on heights - I don't remember it swaying at all but it was a hot sunny day with no wind when we went up. Was well worth it as the views were fantastic.

Guys, is this the hot air balloon over the lake? Or is it something else? I think you pay extra to go on it if it's what I'm thinking of. Am I right?

I know DS would love this so I must be sure to take him!!
