We're going for DD's birthday this time, with the understanding that we'll be returning for DS's birthday. He has already expressed a desire to stay at CSR. I quickly skimmed mousesavers.com to check prices and discounts for advance planning purposes, and it seems that CSR does not seem to offer seasonal discounts. We'll have AP's when we go back - will we be able to get a decent AP/DC/seasonal discount there?

Hi Lori-

There have been some posts about this saying that there won't be discounts for CSR. Apparently there are full with conventions so I guess they don't need to drop the rates. I would keep checking though!

Good luck!

I'm waiting to see what Sunday brings for AP rates too but I don't think CSR is participating this time around.

CSR has at certain times participated in discounts.
In May '01 we got CSR for $105/night.
So it is possible, but they don't always have the discounts.
And there have been various posts stating that there are quite a lot of conventions this year.
Now that I am thinking about it.......we had ressies at CBR then as the time came closer...maybe with in the 60 day time-frame...I called and CSR popped up and I switched.:)
So even if they say NO to start with, keep calling something may change.:)

Our stay in September is at a discounted rate. I believe I originally booked it with an AP rate and then lowered it further with a code.

We stayed at CSR in 6/2000 with a discount rate of $109/night. Can't remember for sure if it was an AP discount or a code, but I think it was AP.

DS's WDW birthday celebration won't happen until Jan. 2006, so I don't need to worry about current discounts - I was interested in the general trend, though. Thank you very much for your help!
