We went last year from Sept 15-23 and plan on going again this year from Aug 29- Sept 12. I hear of people getting 'bounceback' offers and I was wondering what this is and what are my chances of getting the same. Thanks!:thumbsup2

If you're interested in going to WDW next year it might be pretty good.
A "bounceback" is a promotion where you receive some sort of discount if you book your next stay while you are still staying at a WDW resort. You must call the designated number before you check out of your resort to book your next stay. When you book one of these types of promotions, they will check and make sure you are currently a registered guest at a WDW resort.
If you're talking about the free dining bounceback, what you're seeing now for Aug/Sept 2010 are people who booked their next stay while they were at WDW for the last free dining period in 2009. That offer expired October 24, meaning you had to be at WDW and book your 2010 trip before then.
You probably had a shot at booking bounceback last year if you knew about the offer, because it was open to anyone then staying at a WDW resort. They didn't put flyers announcing the offer in all resort rooms, though. Your chances of getting it now are probably zero, because you had to book while you were still there. If you go this year and are interested in next year I'd suggest you either 1) ask at the front desk if there is a current bounceback offer and can you have a flyer, or 2) check this board and find out what the number is that you need to call while you are at WDW to book the bounceback offer. Someone usually posts it, or a copy of the flyer.

I agree that you could have booked a Free Dining BB for your trip this year while you were there during the FD dates last year. Here's a previous post with the info on that previous offer (now expired) so that you can be on the lookout when you're down there this year :goodvibes
THIS IS NOW EXPIRED!
Sometimes during the year (though not always available) WDW will offer an enticing Bounceback offer to their resort guests to get them to book another stay at a WDW resort even before they end their current vacation.
These BB offers will be for certain dates, and if you want to book one, you have to pick between the dates listed and put down a $200 deposit BEFORE you check out.
They do verify with their records that you are a current guest staying at a WDW resort, so you can't go home and "think about it" and then decide you want to book a BB - you must do it while you are staying there, and before you check out.
All the BB's are different based on what WDW's marketing has planned (what they want to fill, etc.). Of course, usually these dates are not during peak times when the resorts are full anyway. ;)
The BB that is being placed in guest rooms now is to be able to go ahead and book Free Dining again for next year for stays between 8/15-9/30/2010. Again, you must put down a $200 deposit before check out.
mousesavers shows info on the current BB:
2010 Bounceback Package Offer
This offer is available ONLY to guests who are currently staying at one of the official Walt Disney World resorts, and could end at any time.
Using a special phone number provided on a flyer provided in some resort rooms, you can book a vacation package (accommodations plus at least a 1-day Base Ticket) for stays on selected 2010 dates at a Walt Disney World resort and receive a FREE regular Dining Plan during your 2010 stay.
The dates currently being offered are 8/15/10-9/30/10. Not all resorts and room types will be available for all dates.
Reservation for your next vacation must be made before you check out (and on or before 10/24/09) to qualify, and there are no exceptions made. You must make a $200 deposit when booking.
If you don't get the offer on a flyer in your room, the resort TV channel may be showing this offer. You can also try asking the front desk and/or Housekeeping for a flyer.
DISer TiffanyD posted a copy of the current flyer:

Thanks again to TiffanyD for posting this info!
This BB started on August 16, and will be in guest rooms until October 24.
If you don't see info or a flyer, remember to call extension 8844 from your resort room before check out to check availability of any BB offers!
HTH!

I'll add one small piece of info to that last post (which was great!). I saw that flyer posted on the Dis before we went last August. I also read that not every room got a flyer. I brought all the codes and numbers with me. When we checked into ASMu, we had no flyer. But I called reservations and used the info from the post and got the bounceback offer for this year. :wizard:
