fabric source?

I am looking for 100% wool flannel yardage (about 5 yards, preferably bright red), and not having much luck. Locally, we have Joann and Hancock stores, and a few quilt shops. The chain stores carry only cotton flannel.

Does anyone know of a good local "mom and pop" fabric store or Pendleton outlet that still carries this stuff at a reasonable price?

I've seen wool flannel in my local Joann's--no idea what colors--have you checked online or asked if they can order it for you?
