Can you book DDP for only part of your stay?

I am booking 7 nights at CBR. I was thinking to save money - doing the DDP for only 5 or 6 nights and eating OOP the rest of the nights. (I did the math and it would be cheaper to do regular QS w/o snacks per day, but want the plan most of the time).... at any rate, do they allow this or would I have to book a "split stay"??? Such as 6 nights with the DDP, then a one night stay with no DDP. I'm still a total noob, this is only our 2nd trip!

No. Although you can do a "split stay", where you make two reservations, one with DDP, one without.

But if you do that, make the DDP stay the first one if you're booking a package. Then you can buy tickets with that package for the full trip, and make the second reservation a room only.

In other words, you will have to have the last night as the one with no DDP. You can't pick the day you want to skip DDP to be anywhere else in your vacation. If you do, you would end up having to buy two lots of tix and that would work out more expensive than just adding the QSDP for your entire stay to begin with.

Just an fyi, when doing a split stay they can make you switch rooms.

It isn't likely, but it can happen. I thought I would mention that.
