Hi all

Am new to this site and would be grateful for some of your advice, opinions etc.. please. Me Dh and DS (3yrs) will be going to DLP in August staying at Hotel Cheyenne for 5nts. Can you recommend this hotel? Never been before but obviously looking forward to it but would be great to be a bit better prepared. Only booked on Breakfast but not sure weather to do half board offer or just to eat where ever whenever? It will be DS 4th birthday when we are there so was not sure what to do etc breakfast or lunch with characters? Any one been before in August time and will it be stupidly busy? Any help, advice or info would be great. Thanks in advance:thumbsup2

The Hotel Cheyenne is awesome, me and my DD love it! Its our fave onsite hotel...we actually perfer it to staying in the Disneyland Hotel.

The theming is best on site in my opinion.

For your DS Birthday how about having a character meal at Cafe Mickey with a cake, my DD has had her Birthday in Cafe Mickey twice now and its a fantastic experience.

BTW welcome to the DIS :)

:thumbsup2 Most definitely!! I do love the Cheyenne (although I think the Sequioa is our favourite, especially in winter) and fully recommend it :)

My DS said on our last day that he thinks next time we should go back to Cheyenne and stay for a week, even though it's further away than the New York and the breakfast isn't as nice, he'd still prefer to stay there. :)
