Check in and ddp ?

We are about to head down to stay in a THV. The rest of my family is now getting to the resort much later than me and my wife. Can I check in and pay for my wife and I and when the rest of the family shows up have them pay for their share of the dining plan. Or do I now have to wait to check in till everyone is there to pay each ones share of the dining plan.

The dining plan is currently payable at check-in. DVC has announced that the DP may be paid for in advance thru MS starting sometime this year - so perhaps that would work better for your situation.

As it is now, the first person to arrive pays for everyone, no exceptions.

If I were you, I would have the rest of the family prepay you before the trip and then I would pay for the DDP using my rewards card.

You can pick up everyones KTTW card for them or they can visit the Front Desk upon arrival and pick them up themselves.
