For those who have bought resale - If the asking price/pt is $67.00 can you offer less or do you find it better just to pay the asking price secondary to Disney having first right of refusal? How low does Disney let the points go for - We really want OKW points and just curious to any info anyone may have. TIA:)

I just deposited on a resale that was asking $68. per point -- I offered $65. per point but was told the seller would not go lower than $66. so I bought at $66. -- I would try an offer and see what they say -- you have nothing to lose. Good Luck!!

Resale prices are just like used home prices--it is all negotiable; some sellers are willing to negotiate more than others. Disney rarely exercises Right of First Refusal; some have mentioned that it has a floor where it will react, and that the floor is currently in the upper $50's to $60, but even that is not necessarily true. Also, finding something for $60 or less, even after negotiating, would be difficult today.

THANKS FOR THE INFORMATION
Just put in an offer for OKW 200pts and contracts should be going out for us to look over in a couple of days and if all goes well we will be proud owners at OKW in a few weeks - Wish us luck! :D
