I need help with my photo size on Disboards

I posted a week ago in Tech Support but no one has responded to me so thought I'd try here amongst the lens savvy. My thumbnail photos are too small and my regular size photos are too large. How can I help make Goldilocks happy with a photosize that is just right?

I use a free program called Pixresizer. It's free and you can download it here (http://bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm). You can resize any pic to suit your needs.

shocker, if you're using Photobucket, you can go in and resize your photo - just go into edit, and resize. There are preset sizes, or you can enter your own dimensions.

here goes, I resized it for medium, nope that didn't work, I'll keep playing, doesn't seem to have saved my resizing even though I clicked "apply".

Ok, OK, I found it. After I click "apply" I have to go down to the bottom of the screen and click "Save a copy" then this is what I was able to post as a "medium" photo.
