I think a pet friendly resort at WDW would be great. Then I wouldn't have to leave my Kitty in a kennel. Maybe I will request this at the Disney Shareholders Meeting in March.
Also, the DIS (http://www.wdwinfo.com/tips_for_touring/kennels.htm#Price) is announcing this ... A new full service pet resort is expected to be built on Bonnet Creek Parkway. This 'luxury' facility is expected to open in 2010 and will offer pet care to Disney resort and theme park guests.
Does anyone know exactly where this will be located?

Disney could make a lot of money with this. People who are willing to place their pets in a kennel or a "pet spa" while on vacation would be willing to pay a premium for the this ability.

I think they are building near the Port Orleans resorts.
Jessie won't be going to it when they open---we have a great nearby pet hotel and spa that she loves to go to when we go to WDW.

I second this. I had my dog in the Best Friends Kennel and he has seizures. He looked freaked out by the time we went back for his third walk when the park closed. We actually had to drive back home 2 nights so he could calm down. I would love a pet hotel to stay in "on property" so we get the Disney perks. Great suggestion!!!

Definitely a good idea .... and certainly a better one than what that animal woman said when she was on the podcast (ie, if you leave you pet at home while you go on vacation, get someone to go in at least once a day to feed and let them out!!! I WAS GOBSMACKED!!!! How would she feel locked up and only being allowed to interact with humans and go to the toilet only once every 24 hours!!! She shouldnt have condoned that sort of treatment!!!)
Im sure a resort such as this will be at full capacity alot of the time:thumbsup2
