Hi everyone,
Living in NJ as we do, I guess we'll order the AP's from the Disney store so I can have the vouchers when I check in. I will be arriving in Orlando at 11AM.
Has anyone had trouble checking in with just the voucher, or do I need to hit the park on my way to the resort to activate my pass? Are there any other places I can activate my pass without hitting a park first?

Last year, at BC, they did not even ask for our AP's when we checked in. I think that having the voucher would be good enough if they ask. Anyone have a different experience?

Hi MauraAndIainsDad,
That would be my guess since having the voucher means I've already paid for my AP. Just haven't activated it yet.
Thanks for the info

I am from Jersey too. When ever we have used AP's I've only had the voucher at check-in and I have never been asked for it. I pull it out with all the papers I have so maybe they see it and don't need to ask but I am sure you will be fine with the voucher. CM at the DS also told me that you will be fine checking in with the voucher.

You can call the resort and verify what policy is.........as with all things Disney things change quickly. You can activate them at DD as well. We have had AP's for a while now and just on our last trip the CM asked to see them. So just be prepared. Hope this helps, Laurie :D

Thanks Denise,
2 of the same opinions. That's one less thing I'll worry about.

As of yet, I have never had to show any proof to verify any allowed discounts (DC or AP).
For January, I called ASMo. Like you, we were going to have the vouchers, but not the AP's. I was told I needed to actually have AP's for check-in.
We gambled (because we didn't have time or want to validate until the following day).
They never asked to see any proof. I have read this is different now. But I have not experienced this myself.
Last December at YC they did ask to see my voucher and it was sufficient for them... and when asked; they told me the closest place where I could activate it, over at the International Gateway @ Epcot. :D

I was surprised they asked for it, this was over the 4th of July. First time we had to show it. Laurie :D

We have never had to actually show our AP to get the discount. When I did ask, though, they said the voucher was proof of purchase and would do the same thing as the regular AP.
