It normally starts the same time as Summer Season - beginning of July this year - along with the lovely warm, long evenings and fireworks!! I LOVE this time of year in DLP!

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I was going to book for May, does this mean there will be no Fantillusion then?

Many thanks.

Fantillusion is not on in May, its only during the Summer and Christmas season and the Halloween Soriee in October.

I'm going in July, as I did last year - but until the prices come down I might change to WDW as it's the same price (without flights that I've already got for August to see "family") so am thinking of delaying and staying in the Saratoga Springs instead! (though its coming up against oppositon as "my" house is 15 mins away form WDW :lmao:)

Oh indeed!! I can't believe I am considering paying for an "onsite" hotel instead of staying "at home" :rotfl2: But heck, at the moment before the summer discounts come out, I can get a week at Saratoga Springs with delux dinning AND 14 day tickets for the SAME price!!

Already said you are welcome anytime (when I'm there of course :rotfl:) Be one more trip to add on to our great escape :lmao:

The Saratoga Springs (and Old Key West for that matter) deals are great for August! We're doing our first onsite hotel in August and that was simply due to the price being too good to pass up :thumbsup2

:goodvibes

They certainly are brilliant prices! And if you don't mind flying indirect the airfair is nearly half of a direct flight......and I like to be able to say "i've been there" when I connect to my flight :rotfl2:

The one advantage over DLP the WDW is that the fireworks and Main Street Electrical Parade is on nightly - something which doesn't happen anymore at DLP :sad1: So much more planning has to go into a Paris trip as so many get disappointed when they find out the parks close at 6/7pm and NO parades/fireworks/shows. That's why I love this board, we can pass on our mistakes, I mean knowledge to others :thumbsup2
